Eye Clinic London is centre of excellence in diagnosing and managing complex eye disease in particular: cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery in adults and children. We apply the latest advances in diagnosis and therapies to maximise safety and efficacy in managing various eye conditions. We treat patients from all across the country, additionally patients travel from other countries to have their eyes treated at the eye clinic london. We lead the way on various line of treatment:

- Managing keratoconus by using the latest methods in corneal cross linking CXL, corneal rings implants, partial thickness (lamellar keratoplasty) and if indicated femtosecond lasers are used for maximal precision.

- Corneal scarring, or dystrophies by doing superficial anterior lamellar keratoplasties using lasers to cut the cornea (SALK). If the disease lies deep in the cornea then deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty (DALK) is the favourite option.

- Fuch's endothelial corneal dystrophy and corneal endothelium damage after cataract surgery or trauma by performing endothelial keratoplasty ( replacing the diseased lining of the cornea with new lining which is called DMEK or DSEK

- Dry eye management: many times traditional eye treatment fails to control dry eye symptoms and we have many successful stories of patients restored eye comfort after suffering for so many years

- Cataract surgery: we treat every patient individually by performing customised treatment to give best visual functions. Cataract surgery for us is a refractive surgery and we use topic and multifocal intraocular lenses if appropriate. Sometimes, small refractive surgery on the cornea maximise the results of cataract surgery so patients are less dependent on glasses

- Refractive surgery: We use the latest and most advanced lasers to perform corneal laser refractive surgery to correct myopia (shortsightedness), hyperopia (longsightedness), and astigmatism (oval shape of the cornea). If cornea is not suitable then lens refractive surgery is advised whether putting additional lens impact in the eye or replacing the natural lens with new refractive lens (refractive lens exchange). In older patients we prefer non-corneal refractive surgery

- Children's eye disease: Mr Hamada is top specialist in managing cornea, cataract, and congenital eye diseases in children and one of very few dual trained ophthalmologist in cornea and paediatric ophthalmology from prestigious eye institutions.

We combine the best evidence based knowledge and the latest technology with our advanced skills and expertise to deliver the safest and most effective outcomes. No wonder that our patients recommend their friends and colleagues to have their eyes treated at the Eye Clinic London.

We treat in central London, and Sussex at The McIndoe Centre and Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead.
