Taking a look at the IVF clinic reviews, you see that EmBIO staff are very well chosen. They answer promptly and clearly all your queries, and are there for you almost around the clock to make sure your fertility treatment will have the best chances of success (even while you are being monitored by your doctor at home).
EmBIO IVF center’s cutting-edge embryo lab is directed by Embryologist Dina Katrania, who participated in
one of the first ICSI procedures in the UK.
The fertility center’s Director, Gynecologist and Fertility Specialist Dr. Thanos Paraschos is an attentive listener and a man of action. You will get to see him every time you visit the clinic, and benefit from the fact that he does all the fertility procedures himself (from ultrasound to oocyte retrieval and painless embryo transfer, using the ultrasound assisted catheter he designed at Hammersmith Hospital, London, in Lord Professor Robert Winston’s team.
He was in the team that performed the world’s first PGD at Hammersmith Hospital, London, in 1989 alongside Lord Professor Robert Winston.
I am 47 years and had always dreamed of having another baby. Right from the beginning the clinic was very helpful and provided me with detailed information on the IVF process. I was assigned a personal IVF coordinator (Anna Karamitrou) who was very helpful and was always there for me if I had any questions or doubts. Also at the clinic, there was professional support and it was clearly explained what the next steps would be, this was very comforting and reassuring. I was pregnant at the first attempt and am now the proud mother of a beautiful and healthy son. I would like to thank the entire staff and Anna in particular for her endless help and devotion. I would definitely recommend this professional clinic.
I was a little anxious before we visited the clinic as it was a big step to take travelling to Greece as we had found them online, but straight away on our first visit to the clinic I was put at ease, the facility was state of the art and very impressive! It was a busy clinic and a lot of the patients seemed to be local, so this also reassured me that they seem to have a good name locally. My partner is over 50 and ivf would have been more difficult in the UK. But here they were very relaxed about this and confident it could succeed. We were given a tour of the building and the staff were very friendly. The treatment didn't take too long and we were able to enjoy the rest of the holiday at the hotel pool. We're now excitedly awaiting our new arrivals (which are 5 weeks off) and are so happy and thankful to Dr Paraschos, Sotiria and all the other staff for all their help. I would have no hesitation in recommending EmBIO.
We'd been considering a child for over a year, but knew at my age of then 50, no clinic in England would touch me.I searched the Internet, and found various bits of information. Then I came across Embio Clinic, I emailed them, and they sent me a list of questions about where my cycle was up to date, once they had this they gave me more details of tests I should have here in England, which meant I'd be able to start the treatment here, then just go to Greece for the embryo transfer! All my questions and concerns were answered very quickly. When we arrived at the clinic, very nervous and anxious, I was soon put at ease by the staff (Sotiria). The building was state of the art, and immaculate. We were introduced to Dr Paraschos who was lovely, very calm and reassuring. He answered any questions I had and we were also taken round the building showing us the lab and where the procedure would take place.Unfortunately the first treatment was unsuccessful, I was shocked at how upset I was. The clinic were very supportive and offered a second treatment, with a discount. Now bordering on 51 I knew this would be my last chance. My partner and I agreed to give it one last go.So we organised a second visit, we had the transfer the day of our arrival, and chilled at the pool for the rest of the week.I am now 24 weeks pregnant, and happily awaiting the birth of our triplets, 2 boys and 1 girl! I cannot thank Dr Paraschos and his staff enough.
The treatment was excellent compared with the treatment we had in Ireland over a period of 5 years. Straight to point, no waffle pregnant on second egg donation attempt. Everyone was very helpful Elena and Dr Thanos especially now we have a wonderful son just wish we had have found out about them before trying in IVF clinic in Ireland.
