I contacted Dr Bazeos regarding Laparoscopic Myomectomy to remove the uterine fibroid. He was very thorough in his email responses and always provide as much detail as possible. Even more impressive, was the speed at which such responses were made. After reviewing my records we scheduled a telephone consultation, where Dr Bazeos went over the finer details. He helped to reduce some of the initial anxieties that were eating at me since this would be my first surgery. I flew to Athens from the UK to have surgery at IASO Maternity Hospital in early July without any fear or hesitation, as I was confident the surgery would be a success. To my surprise, Dr Bazeos had surpassed any expectations I had. I am 9 days post-op and my recovery has been nothing short of a miracle to date. I could not have asked for more. I will be forever grateful to Dr Bazeos for the compassion and care he provided along with possessing a skilled pair of hands which is essential for such complex surgery. I would recommend anyone seeking top-quality medical treatment from a highly-qualified and high-skilled Surgeon to consult with Dr Bazeos. I had a great experience and can find no complaints whatsoever. Everyone I encountered from the initial to the final stages was very helpful and accommodating. The Nurses, Doctors and even the other patients made the atmosphere very relaxing and calming.

IVF - In Vitro Fertilisation

We had ICSI IVF, with a day 3 transfer of one embryo. My husband is 50, I just turned 40 and I suppose I'm considered to have a low reserve and low response. Not going to pretend it's easy to plan this but we chose to do our IVF in Europe so we wouldn't have to go into debt in the USA for a treatment with the vast amounts of unknowns. We did our second IVF attempt in Greece, with Dr. Bazeos. (Our first was in Prague and came with a lot of stresses and didn't work.) IVF is a tough process that begins at least one cycle before the actual treatment cycle. There are the expenses and the hormones pumping through our bodies and the difficulties of timing everything while not having information to base plans on. It's just hard, with so much to fear and to hope for. Dr. Bazeos and Chryssa made this process the absolute best and smoothest that it could be. They made it almost a pleasure. They did it seamlessly so it would appear that they weren't juggling a bunch of other patients with equally pressing needs. We have finally gotten our BFP (big, fat positive), thanks to Dr. Bazeos team and their lab. A wonderful doctor and clinic! We're so thrilled Dr. Bazeos was our IVF doctor and grateful he got us pregnant! Dr. Bazeos is so gracious and thoughtful, maintaining flawless professionalism. I honestly could not over-state how grateful we were to him and Chryssa during the entire process, for his infinite patience and guidance. (And I'm the tedious type that asks a million questions, maybe twice, because IVF is science and if I can't picture it, I'm confused by it.) We wanted a doctor who wasn't working for a huge IVF clinic with a marketing department, but rather had a small, personal practice and a great lab. Dr. Bazeos was a perfect fit and works with two labs; he gave us our choice of which to use. (We also LOVED the lab!)Dr. Bazeos seems to have a sensitivity to his patients' needs and the advice he gave helped me remember to destress each day. He was very methodical, very personable and always willing to answer our questions. Actually, he also guessed questions we might have before we asked. He is available - we never felt we had to wait long to get important responses and he and Chryssa could not have been more welcoming and friendly when I, (and my mother in law!), came to their practice. We deeply appreciated everything about the entire experience with Dr. Bazeos. The only problem is that we couldn't bring him home with us now that we are pregnant! Thank you so much, Doctor Bazeos!

IVF - In Vitro Fertilisation

At the beginning of my IVF journey, I messaged several different clinics/doctors, as it's always good to have some comparison. From the responses I got, and after the initial message exchanges, it quickly became clear Dr. Bazeos would be my best choice - he always replied promptly to all questions I had, in a logical organised manner. There was no pressure to decide 'here and now'; I could ask questions and Dr. Bazeos always answered, even though he had no guarantee I'd choose to do the treatment with him! He also speaks excellent English, which was important to me.I had the treatment (IVF) in the IASO hospital in Athens. I was surprised how big and busy the hospital is. Sometimes there were small delays probably because of the number of patients, but it didn't really matter because I was on holidays anyway. In a way I was reassured I made a good choice - so many other people were having treatment at IASO as well!I had 4 appointments during the 2-week period of taking hormonal injections. Dr. Bazeos always answered all questions, even though sometimes he was super busy, and was always happy to help if I needed anything (e.g. finding medication). Then, there were the most important parts - egg retrieval, fertilisation and embryo transfer. After each stage, with every little success, I was more and more optimistic the IVF would end in a pregnancy. I was extremely happy each time I learned something went well, and so was Dr. Bazeos – I am sure he has done thousands of IVF cycles before, but he seemed genuinely happy for me & always wished me good luck.And now the best part – I am pregnant!!! 😊 It is, of course, still early, and I realise things can go wrong, but still… This was my first IVF cycle and I’m so happy I chose Dr. Bazeos. He is a very knowledgeable specialist & I fully trust his decisions. I’d definitely make the same choice if I had to do it again.

IVF - In Vitro Fertilisation

I was referred to Dr Bazeos in 2004 for fertility treatment after my husband underwent chemotherapy. He was the silver lining in what was a very dark cloud for us during that period. He is one of the most professional, experienced, empathetic and honest doctors I've ever met. He is the reason I am now a mother to two gorgeous children who were both conceived via IVF under his competent care (with a successful first attempt in both cases). I have no hesitation in recommending him, and have in fact done so many times, receiving glowing feedback on each occasion. Sadly, I no longer live in Greece, but I know he'd welcome my phone call if I ever needed his advice.

Tubal Ligation

I got a tubal ligation for sterilisation purposes performed by Dr Bazeos at IASO maternity hospital. The service was excellent. The doctor made sure I was informed of what would happen and very important for me he respected my decision. It was worth every cent. The surgery was performed at IASO maternity hospital. It's a very big hospital but everyone was really nice, particularly taking into account that I speak no greek so they made sure to come find me. The test were super fast and I stayed overnight on a three people room. Everything was very well organised.

I have had both my children through Andreas Bazeos and I cannot speak highly enough for him. He is very professional and competent, with wonderful communication skills. I reside in Sweden and I am a rather demanding person. In both my pregnancies I gave up Sweden, seeking a reliable and competent obstetrician to help me through necessary tests and embrace my concerns and un-answered questions throughout the pregnancy.
