The Salisbury Fertility Centre is situated within the site of Salisbury District Hospital. The treatments at this centre includes egg collection, embryo replacement and freezing, egg donation, and counseling. Shaun Fountain, a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist, was appointed as a Consultant in Salisbury in 1996 with a remit to set up a specialist infertility service. He sees patients in outpatients and perform laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, tubal microsurgery, major gynecological surgery and IVF (test tube babies).
