This surgery is located opposite Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. Dr. Martina Cleary and Dr. Emer McCarthy provide medical services for patients at the surgery. Blood Test, GP Consultation

GP Consultation + Blood test, following a period of prolonged weaknesses. I found doctor McCarthy to be both really professional and empathetic at the same time. I didn't feel rushed, I felt listened to. She went in depth with her investigation and I felt the consultation was both complete and time-efficient. She provided me with a satisfactory report when the tests came back. The studio is clean, which is very important to me, and centrally located. I know some people had problems with the receptionist, but there are different ones. The ones I interacted with were really nice to me, and answered emails in a time-efficient way.Why I don't give an excellent rating? Because regarding the follow up call with the doctor, I had to proactively email the studio to remind about it. Also, on the second follow up call, which I also reminded, the doctor told me that the lab didn't give back the last test we were supposed to have. We agreed not to proceed on that, 'cause it would have implied another blood test. However, how come than the lab could not give back a test? Mystery.It is fine, and I still would come back as it is relatively the best service I have received given the Dr. McCarthy approach. However, I would suggest the studio to be just a bit more proactive on the follow up call, and maybe re-evaluate their collaboration with the lab.

I called Suffolk Street Surgery (as a new patient) as I needed to get an appointment quickly. The staff did their best to squeeze me in on what is seemed like a very busy practice. The doctor that looked after me was fantastic and very thorough. I would highly recommend Suffolk Street Surgery. As I am a student I got a discount. I have told all my college friends about this surgery. Brilliant and efficient. Very friendly staff.

I was in a panic and saw Dr Orla today at short notice. It was my first time meeting her. I’m amazed at how thorough, professional and kind she is. Yellow Fever Vaccine

Yellow fever vaccine. Professional, make sure all travel related vaccine are needed. I'm a bit scared of needles, but the whole treatment made me feel comfortable. Didn't really feel the pain. Also give advice for the follow up. Send inquiry, reply in two hours; further questions, reply in another two hours; stop by the clinic and made an appointment on the next day; done everything in three days. Very efficiency. Provides documents for insurance purposes. Really do their best for helping.

Today on Nov 15th, 2022 I visited Dr Orla Coughlan in Suffolk Street Surgery. She is so caring, kind, fun and professional at the same time. She listened to me very well without interrupting and answered all of my questions and did the necessary checks one by one. I am really amazed by her. Recommend to everyone. Also receptionist was very nice and kind. Thanks all.

My consultation with the GP was excellent. I felt she listened to me. She gave me a real feeling of understanding. I have and will continue to sing her praises to my family and friends. I'm only sorry I didn't find her sooner. When I arrived in Suffolk Street Surgery I was greeted with a friendly, kind and polite receptionist. It was a very positive experience. I have been to GP practices before in Dublin city centre and this was definitely the best. It will be my regular clinic from now on. Good prices too!

Dr. Antonia Courtrney is incredible. Not only has she taken great care of my health ,but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. It's rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend becoming her patient!
