General Practice Clinics & Doctors in Ireland

Was looking for a local doctor when I moved to the area, after a few unfortunate choices I tried Bradys GP and was assigned to Fergus Brady. A wonderful doctor, always does a very thorough examination, eliminating all potential causes to ensure there is no underlying condition. He is also a very nice man, very personable and easy to talk to. A nice clinic, warm decor in an old house. The receptionist is a lovely woman, so friendly and caring which is great when your not feeling well. Big selection of magazines in the waiting area, a fish tank. There's always hand sanitizer and good quality tissues. read more

I have just come from Market square Surgery having had to take my 13yr severely anxious son with Asperger's for a full medical including blood tests, ECG etc. The care we received was excellent. The staff facilitated a joint approach which made it all run so smoothly and professionally. At this surgery they understand people..Thank you Bernie (Practice Manager who is always on top of things!), who saw Emmet's distress and acted on it, to Nicole (Fabulous easy going nurse who knows how to be with kids) and Dr Catherine who is so easy to talk to and was very respectful towards my son. Excellent communication, caring and open, committed to sorting problems.

I've never felt inclined to review any place, never mind a Dr.'s office, but my experience here was so wonderful I thought others should know. I'm originally from the US, and have had asthma all my life. Throughout my childhood and adolescence, I've consistently been told there was nothing they could do to further help my asthma as I typically don't wheeze and my oxygen levels remain in the healthy range, however, I will have coughing fits so intense I throw up. At one trip to the ER, when I was 19, a doctor tried to tell me I wasn't experiencing an asthma attack (despite my medical history) but anxiety, and try to prescribe me medication. I am used to fighting for treatment and being gaslit by medical professionals. I saw Dr. Louise and cannot express enough how cared for and listened to she made me feel. She was personable and very knowledgeable, showing me a website for the Asthma Society of Ireland and explaining recent research suggesting other medication (which is what I typically used). She even texted me a link explaining how to use this kind of inhaler. The office lady was also amazing as she walked me through how to file claims with my Irish insurance company. In my whole 25 years of life, this is the best care I've received in regards to my asthma and I am so thankful to have been taken seriously and given an effective treatment. read more

I attended the Clinic at the appointed time and I was seen promptly. The Nurse was very courteous and pleasant. The procedure was explained to me as were the details of the side effects. Rachel Quigley is very personable and also knows her stuff. She gave me good advice and was very professional. I would recommend her to friends and family as a female GP if people prefer Email consultations. Dundanion medical centre is situated conveniently on church road for patients in the Blackrock vicinity. There is ample car parking and evening appointments. General. I have had gall stones, I have asthma, hypothyroidism, anaemia, childbirth, vertigo, general illnesses too such as tonsillitis kidney infection and 24 hr bugs I also lost my brother some years ago and she was extremely understanding about everything. She has been my doctor for about 15 years now. I'm delighted with the service she provides and she is caring and considerate. She is not a good doctor she is a great doctor. I have had all sorts of ailments and she has always helped me recover as quickly and easily and pain free as possible. read more

I wanted to use a local doctor, so I decided on Churchtown Family Practice. Everything was grand, and the service was good. I was in capable hands for the duration of my visit, and I paid the same price I found on the website. read more
