Permai Polyclinics Group was founded in 1997 by Datuk Dr. James Jeremiah, in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia to bring quality healthcare services to the vicinity of the various communities in the State of Sabah. With such noble thought in mind, the concept of Permai Polyclinics Group was gradually conceived to provide qualitative healthcare services, it is the practice of the Permai Polyclinic Group that most branches are to operate on a 24-hours basis, and to be equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology and equipment to help doctors in determining accurate and prompt diagnosis in patient care.

Quality of service has always been highest priority. In 2012, Permai Polyclinics Kota Kinabalu was awarded the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Certificate. Permai Polyclinics was also awarded the 1st Litter Free Clinic certificate heeding to the call of the Sabah State Government for a more livable and litter-free city.

As of June 2016, the Group has under its flagship a total of 28 branches across Malaysia and it has become the biggest Polyclinics Group in the State of Sabah with the strength close to 620 staff.
