About Hospital

There has been a great need for sophisticated health care centre which was lacking for a long time in Turkey. Dr. Said Haifawi has decided to establish a hospital that would provide top quality health care to patients both from Turkey and abroad.In 1985, Dr. Said Haifawi, who is a dedicated health care professional from the beginning and a graduate of Istanbul University, built a world class medical centre in Yesilkoy. Dr. Said Haifawi and his medical supervisors have planned the hospital to be a centre of excellence that would be comparable to the best hospitals in the world. The best equipment available has been purchased and each patient room is furnished to be very comfortable for patients and their families.The project has taken four years. International Hospital, Istanbul that is dedicated to provide a high quality health care using the most advanced diagnostic procedures and treatment modalities, is in a unique position to be one of the milestones in health care history of Turkey. International Hospital Istanbul serves its patients with 119 beds which includes 10 Intensive Care Unit, 5 Coronary Care Unit, 6 Heart Surgery Intensive Care Unit beds, plus 5 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit incubators, 8 angiography laboratory beds , 5 Emergency Room beds, and 6 operating theatres.
