I am sharing my personal experience to provide insight for others considering treatment. When I booked my procedure, the clinic was affiliated with a larger international franchise, but I later learned that this partnership had ended, and it now operates independently. I had originally agreed to a follow-up session to improve the outcome of my first treatment, but it was not carried out.In 2019, I underwent a one-day FUT hair restoration procedure. I requested a line shave rather than a full shave, which reduced the number of possible grafts. On the day of treatment, I was informed that only around half of the initially planned grafts could be completed due to donor area limitations. While I appreciated the explanation, I was disappointed that this meant the results would be less full than expected.During the procedure, communication was challenging as not all staff spoke fluent English. I also noticed that one assistant was not consistently wearing a mask, which made me concerned about hygiene. The operation felt rushed, and there was little time afterwards to ask questions or discuss next steps.Several years later, I still find the results below expectations, with some unevenness and scalp sensitivity. Overall, I was dissatisfied with the reduced graft number, limited follow-up, and communication difficulties. I would recommend that future patients confirm all procedural details in writing before committing.
Life changing; couldn't recommend them highly enough. Thanks to Mr. Foley and the whole team.
My name is Jason. I went to DHI Sandyford three years ago for a FUE hair transplant. I think now, after having time to reflect, I am not completely happy with my result and the price that I paid. I chose DHI Beacon because it was close to my home, and I was worried that if I had any problems that this would be important. After a lot more research, I have decided to go abroad and get a top up. I can get three times as many grafts for less than half the price that I paid in DHI. I really do regret getting my transplant done here in Ireland. The clinic itself is fine, and staff are quite friendly. The procedure is relatively painless. In the first half of the procedure, the doctor removes the grafts from the donor area. Then you break for lunch which DHI supply for you. In the second half, the doctor will implant the grafts. Fairly straight forward, really.
Been thinking about going this for a while. Drove up to meet DHI in Dublin and liked the experience. Opted for the transplant without shaving head. Same price but less follicles implanted. I have read all the reviews etc, especially the ones about going abroad, and decided to do this in Ireland. At least if something goes wrong in future, I can get into car and call in.This is day 2. I'm very happy. Back to work tomorrow and barely noticeable. The procedure itself was fairly painless. Doctor and nurse were exceptional. It took the doctor longer to get follicles out, but there was no rush...finished at 7.30pm on a Saturday night. Everything was explained and instructions given on post op treatment. Will revert all in a few months. Delighted I got this done. Professional. Clean. Tidy. Would go again definitely.
