Dr. Ruben is a very friendly person and gave me a very details explanations, for now i did not go for any surgery, just take medicine given by Dr Ruben... have to wait at least for four month to allow the medicine take effect.

Dr Ruban was recommended to me by another medical professional in Malaysia. My hairline was in recession and overall my hair was a bit thin. I sent Dr Ruban some photos and made an appointment. Dr Ruban does hair transplant by FUT. That means taking a thin strip from your scalp at the back of your head. It sounds frightening but after going through it I'm convinced this is in fact the best way to go. The procedure itself is totally painless. After the strip is taken, Dr Ruban and his team (3 nurses) extract the follicles and replant them in the recession zones. It's a bit like gardening! It took about 6 hours for my transplant. Obviously there is a bit of swelling. Mine took about 5 days to clear. The first night is difficult if you sleep on your back because the site of the extraction is tender. After 3 months your hairdresser will not even be able to see the extraction site. The scar line is so thin. And then, after the original hair falls, the new hair begins to grow and with it your satisfaction at the result. You will not look like you did at 21 but the regrowth is definitely passable and natural looking. Dr Ruban also recommends proven medication to encourage thickening of your existing hair. Finally, and importantly, Dr Ruban is the most personable and professional consultant you could ever wish to meet and I recommend him without hesitation. The cost is substantial but for me it was value for money.

I recently had the FUE procedure carried out with Dr Ruban in his clinic at Brickfields Malaysia and I was so impressed. From the first consultation through to the FUE surgery and the follow up Dr Ruban and his staff were 1st class. This is my second procedure but the first time with Dr Ruban. He is a first class Dr and I am so glad I chose him. He is a caring Dr and person and his clinic and staff share his vision. Thanks again a truly satisfying experience

Medication. Dr. Ruban is very friendly. He explained to me about my problems and the solutions. He was not like the other hair specialists who went straight into the conclusion of doing hair transplant which was extremely costly. I was impressed with his professionalism.

I developed a rash on my back and sides, which developed to be lots of tiny blisters, all in a space of 4 days. When it really started to hurt (more like stings from the tiny blisters that burst) I went to Dr Ruban’s clinic which was near my place in Bangsar. Did not have to wait more than 20 minutes, when the doctor saw me. He was quick and efficient, I was out in 5 minutes. He told me it was Shingles, a form of Chickenpox, that older people get, triggered by stress. He gave me anti-viral meds and a pain killer. What I really appreciate was the promptness in getting medical attention, the clarity of his explanation of what I had, and the do’s and don’t’s I needed to follow. All round, a great experience, in what was a painful situation. I’m a happy patient. Thank you to the team at the clinic.
