HAIR TRANSPLANT 1-YEAR UPDATE01 November 2021I believe that when it comes to looking at yourself in the mirror, you need to be honest. Brutally honest. As if you were giving yourself feedback. No one is listening. Just you.This is what I saw last year on November 1st…minutes before I was ushered into that operating room…FACT - I was unhappy with my hairline. FACT – I would let me hair grow longer in some areas and always had to warn my barber about it. (‘’I know, I know…’’ he’d say)FACT - I was tired of choosing to attribute losing hair to the fact that I was no longer 22.FACT – I was scared knowing that someone was about to dig around the top of my head for hours on end. (*had never had any surgery before*).01 November 2022Same mirror, same bathroom, same me…OK, you caught me. I moved house in the meantime, but you know what I mean.FACT – I feel content looking at my hair (from every angle). You know that feeling when you’ve had a few scoops of your favourite ice-cream ever. Yeah! That same feeling of fulfillment, I swear! FACT – I don’t have to burden myself with reminding my barber not to cut too much in the corners, stressing over whether he’d forget…There’s no ‘’he trimmed too much’’ anymore. FACT – My hair is 22 again! And me – oh well...Age is just a number, anyway. FACT – Fear? What fear!?And, no, this is not a paid ad. By no means. In fact, this is my way of paying back to Dr. Ahmad Moussa (the kindest doctor I’ve ever met), and Jake (the biggest invisible support you can ever imagine) for being true to what was promised. Until they come up with a more powerful word: T-H-A-N-K Y-O-U!!

Hair Transplant 1700 grafts What’s my story? Probably strangely similar to everyone else's considering hair transplant. Did it take me a long time to make up my mind about the surgery? Yes! Did I consider flying across the world just to save money? Yes! Did I know little to nothing about hair transplant, which kept me glued to the screen for hours reading reviews and other people’s stories? OH YES! Did I find all the right answers? Absolutely not. Instead I developed a serious case of paralysis by analysis, and finally gave myself a deadline. One thing I knew – I wanted my hair back!How did I choose to have my surgery in the UK? Simple – I didn’t want to be so far away from home if anything was to go wrong. How did I choose the clinic? Gave myself 1 hour to read through reviews and offers in my region. Made 2 inquires. Customer service ended up being the decisive factor. Yes, the name that has popped up so many times in these reviews is about to be introduced ;) Jake was kind, helpful, fast, informative and most of all – not pushy. I just felt I was doing the right thing. That was the moment when apprehension and uncertainty swapped places with ‘’I can’t wait for the day of the surgery’’ feeling. So, we arranged things and everything was just as explained. To a T.Dr. Moussa has this calming air around him that his presence alone took all my anxiety away. He explained it all, and that was exactly what happened. Like a perfectly scripted film. No…better! Alongside Dr. Moussa, I can’t but give a very special thanks to Phil and Claire, who not only did their job perfectly, but are also sweet and kind people and a pleasure to be around. Once the surgery was over I was given my pills and instructions and was on my way back home. Jake was there for me every single day. I felt taken care of well, and knew that If I needed anything he was only a text message away. In other words – Just stay calm and stick to the rulebook. The first week after the surgery is indeed crucial and you may have to be extra cautious. I had no pain at all on the second day already, but there was some serious itching around the day 5 (just some nerve endings healing, you’re not going crazy). Today is my Day 21. I’m so happy and proud of myself that I made the right decision and went for Surgery Group, and can’t wait for … those 8 looooooong months to be over before I see the final results 🙃. But, the wait will be worth the effort. I’m sure. As much as I’m sure Surgery Group is worth the praise. Every word of it. Thank you! ❤️
