After a thorough examination, we were quoted a price for the removal of a cataract and were told a new lens might be needed. The hospital had previously advised that there was another cataract in the other eye, however, the specialist said there was no need for its removal at this time and suggested an annual review.The operation was totally successful and Joyce will probably only need reading lenses for this eye.
