I have a complicated underlying corneal condition on top of cataracts that I needed treated. Any blunder and I would have needed a corneal endothelial cell transplant quickly. The doctor has been very good and extremely careful given my condition. He performed checks and tested my eyes, and then did so again immediately right before the surgery of each eye. My eyes were done separately with time in between due to the risk factor. of my condition. His being so precise with checking and double-checking impressed me. My life has changed. Before my left eye surgery, I had lost about 80% + of my vision and depended on my right eye vision which was beginning to go misty. I felt unbalanced when walking because of this. It was said before surgery, that given my underlying eye condition that I may have to accept wearing glasses even with the cataract surgery. However, as it turns out, I'm able to see all distances without them. The doctor is a master and I'm very grateful to him for saving my vision. I've literally had moments where I've cried from happiness. I'm quite serious. I highly recommend Dr. Hayati Turker. . He really knows what he's doing. I also want to mention, patient coordinator and translator, Akin who has been extremely helpful. He has been there during all my appointments and there in surgeries with me. He has made the process much easier and understandable...also relaying crucial medical information between the doctor, medical staff and myself that would have otherwise been hard to translate due to language as I don't speak Turkish. Akin is also a very kind, polite and friendly soul. So, I very highly recommend Net Goz. read more
