Absolutely brilliant, all the staff involved in the treatment were professional but friendly, and put me at ease from start to finish. Mark who did the surgery was superb. Operation went well (total of 3 minutes max!!) and I was out within 30 minutes of arriving. Nicely efficient and sent off with eye drops galore, and provided with even more due to the amount of air travel with my job. Eye sight perfect, 6 months on and I am still delighted. No prescription sunglasses for me over the Summer! Only minor issue is lack of handy parking on Highfield Rd at times. Expensive but worth it, also includes after care.

All went really well, the staff put me at ease and were very helpful. The treatment was pain free at the time and I suffered a bit of discomfort that evening but I didn't even need the pain relief which was supplied. The results were noticeable while walking out of the clinic, and got progressively better as the week went on and after two weeks I had 20/20 vision, even after three weeks every day feels great that I can see clearly no more blurred vision!!! Overall I would recommend the treatment to anyone!!

I was very happy to go to Optimax as it was easy to get to and the inside was calm and peaceful, as opposed to a hospital. I was there for laser eye treatment because the lens that had been put in when a cataract was removed had moved, giving me cloudy vision. I chose this clinic as it was nearer my home. The staff were friendly and efficient, as I have mobility problems. The stairlift was really welcome, too. My daughter accompanied me and the actual treatment took less than 10 minutes, and the cup of real coffee was very welcome. As I was an NHS patient I was pleased to be seen in a small clinic, rather than a hospital. I would recommend Optimax Newton Abbot to anyone considering treatment there.

I had my final checkup appointment yesterday after my cataract surgery approximately 6 weeks ago, both eyes were done and prescription lenses were inserted. At every stage, I was seen by the consultant, which is reassuring for eye surgery. The results are excellent. No more glasses for me and near 20/20 vision,

Very pleased with the results, it's not the most pleasant procedure to have done but you guided through it at every stage. Expensive but you would not want a cowboy doing it I suppose! If you are unsure then just go for it, I have not met anyone that has regretted it yet.
