I went to Mirabel clinic for the removal of a venous lake on my lower lip. It looked like a big black spot and had been troubling me for a long time.I had to go in person to make my own appointment. Also, I arrived at the appointed time but was kept waiting another 30 minutes before I got to see Doctor Miroslav Dragolov. Thankfully, he spoke very good English and was both caring and courteous. After that, all went well. The doctor zapped the venous lake with a laser. It was quite painful but very brief. The treatment cost 50lev and I paid another 10lev for a protective lip salve. I was told that further laser treatment if needed, would cost 50lev per visit. But, three weeks later the venous lake has gone completely and the scar has almost healed. I will wait a bit longer to be sure, but it looks like I shall not need to go again. So, it was a good outcome for me, surprisingly simple and not very expensive. The clinic is small but clean and organised. Free parking on the poorly made road outside is possible, but it is often full. read more
