SkinScience was founded in 2007 by Marie Bertrand so that both women and men could have a place to turn to for ethical, science-based, personalized skin care recommendations & procedures.

Understanding that it can be confusing for people to choose the best skin care products and procedures, Marie created SkinScience to bring a new vision of skin care: respect for the customer, ethical and unbiased recommendations, design of skin care regimes based on scientific facts and sound clinical studies, measurable results, on-going support and education for all customers.

After Marie graduated from the University of Montreal with a degree in Microbiology and Immunology she did a research internship at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Washington D.C. where she worked in the field of biotechnology and molecular biology. Marie is an internationally recognized speaker and has worked with the worlds largest cosmetic companies.
