Excessive Sweating Treatment

I went to the clinic for a filler treatment for hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating in the armpits). The clinic was flexible in their availability and I scheduled my appointment as filler for a last-minute cancellation. Upon arrival, I met the assistant who took me to the examination room/ treatment room and subsequently saw the doctor to further discuss the treatment. I was told that the injections may last around 6 to 8 months on average but it may last longer in some cases. I then looked over the information provided and signed the consent form. As for the actual treatment, the needle used was quite small and I could feel the pricks but it was more uncomfortable than anything else. I did not experience any pain, though. Furthermore, I was told the treatment may not take effect immediately as it could take up to 10 days to take effect (individual results may vary). The price with taxes included was $977.29 (for 100 cc) but again, the price may vary. The clinic does provide a receipt for insurance purposes. I chose this particular clinic because the online reviews were mostly positive. Dr. Ptito has the required credentials and a lot of experience in the area of cosmetic procedures. Moreover, I also prefer having a female doctor over a male doctor, if possible. Lastly, the clinic is walking distance from my apartment which I found very convenient. The receptionist was very helpful and so was the rest of the staff. I received a follow-up email a week after my procedure to see if I had any questions or concerns. It has been one month since my procedure and I am very happy with the results. In my case, the treatment took effect after 6 hours and I hope that it will last for several months.
