BodyTite™

I had the Bodytite procedure in July 2015. I'm fit, 56 years old and had a roll of abdominal fat that I couldn't do anything with. The address of the Clinic is not where the procedure takes place and I had gone to the wrong address. This meant I didn't see the doctor wore the procedure.However, I was pleased that they required a health check at one of the local hospitals before the procedure. The procedure went very smoothly. The doctor removed 1 1/3 liters of fatty liquid. Two days later, I had no bleeding, no pain and no bruising and because the doctor doesn't sew up the incision, no scars.The only thing was that as part of the procedure there is laser treatment 5 days later. This left burn marks on me. At the Clinic, the doctor wasn't there and the technicians said the burns would disappear in a few days. This was correct! They vanished after 4 days (I'd put baby oil so they wouldn't dry out). There had been mention of a "fat reduction injection" but it didn't happen: just as well because it is banned in Brazil and severely curtailed in Britain and Germany. I am very happy. It is 10 days after the doctor did the bodytite procedure and I'm still wearing the compression garment but it was definitely worth it! The staff at the Clinic are all friendly and the PR lady, Nuke speaks excellent English. The doctor was very reassuring and spoke English. The Clinic is about 15 min drive from the Old City. Before and after the procedure, Nuke picked me up and dropped me off in a car which was extremely helpful on the day of the procedure. Also, they provided a taxi ride after the Laser treatment: again, very helpful.The reason I chose this Clinic was because I had read favorable comments about Bodytite being done in Bangkok.

Liposuction

This is a follow up review of F and B Clinic. After 3 1/2 months I went to get a professional assessment by a Plastic Surgeon in Australia of the work I had done in Chiang Mai. This Surgeon has had 15 years experience in Liposuction. She quoted $3,500 to fix it up and advised me to wait until a year has passed to allow the scarring to settle down. In July all I knew was that there was little pain, little bleeding and my body seemed relatively flat under the compression garments.However, several months down the track there is a slight ridge along the right side and general unevenness so that I cover up my midriff wherever possible.I went into this procedure, lulled by a false sense of confidence because I had had some excellent work done by an surgeon in Malaysia (a boob job and a mid face lift).As the Melbourne surgeon said, "Any GP can be trained to put a canula into a body. But whether they have the aesthetic skill to shape the body is another question..."I learned a lesson: that price is the least important reason for the choice of surgeon! And to do more research next time....The results of Bodytite for me were not worth it. Lack of English by the majority of staff is one difficulty (I seem to recall that the doctor had some English but it was limited.) the staff were very friendly and the PR lady was first rate!

Though Liposuction is generally a safe procedure and it is rare for any serious problems to develop, we do inform our customers that as with all surgical procedures, some side effects are always possible. In the case of liposuction - some bruising, swelling (which may not settle for up to six months), inflammation and scars, all are common. Other, much rarer complications include; lumpy and uneven results, numbness in the treated area, changes in skin colour and a loss of normal feeling in the area treated. In some Liposuction procedures (specifically in the above case, a BodyTite procedure) there can be leftover fat that causes uneven looking skin during the first few months. In the meantime, we suggest having a Radio Frequency treatment to smoothen the leftovers and stimulate collagen. Fat reduction injections can also be used to dissolve excessive fat. Note that this post-surgery procedure is offered free of charge at our clinic. Our surgeon, Dr. Timinkrun is a qualified and highly regarded cosmetic surgeon, with years of experience, specifically in Liposuction and Bodytite . With hundreds surgical procedures performed each year, he has a large number of patients that can testify for having great results.
