Medical for D4 Driving Licence Renewal form for over 70's.Having never ever done one of these forms before I was feeling like a fish out of water but with the skilled and professional help I received from Dr Vamsee Bammidi with the medical side of things and the filling in of the form, it was all sorted out and it relieved me of any worries I had. I will definitely be calling on him again when I next need to sort out one of these forms again. Thank you. At first I went to ask my Doctor about the filling in of the D4 medical form and was messed around with him saying he hadn't got the time to do it, as he already was two Doctor's short and told me to ask some other Doctor to do it, I went to three Doctors and was told I would have to pay £100 at all these Doctor's, so going back to mine and trying to insist he did it, only to be told it would cost me £110.So I looked on the internet to see what the lorry driver's do about it and found: The Unicare Group. I gave them a call to see if they could do the D4 medical and form for someone coming up to 70 years of age ( just wanting to retain what I could already drive after 70 years of age) and was told they could plus it would only cost me £49.

GP Consultation

I went to see Dr Vamsee Bammidi after needing to see a GP at my own practice but couldn't get in for 3 days. Although my problem wouldn't have been classed as an emergency, I felt it couldn't wait that long. I was given an appointment with Dr Vamsee Bammidi the same day I called and was greeted by a very pleasant receptionist upon arrival who put me at my ease. I really can't praise this doctor enough. He took time to listen to me so he could understand my problem and he explained treatments he wanted to try me on. He took the time to help me understand why he was putting me on these treatments and what they would do. He also has a very reassuring manner about him which made me feel I could talk to him about anything. I have seen him 3 times in total so far and will be returning. Although this is a private practice I don't feel like I am ever pushed to pay for anything I don't want or for anything that is not necessary. The experience made me feel like I was treated with respect and care. I appreciate that NHS doctors are under extreme pressure so cannot spent long with a patient. With Dr Bammidi I was able to take my take explaining at length what the problem was and he was also able to take time to explain what was happening and how he planned to make things better.

Medical for D4 Driving Licence Renewal for over 70's My husband and I would highly recommend the service at The Unicare GroupWe sourced the cost at various venues including the Doctors, and the Unicare Group were by far the most competitive price. When making an appointment I was offered a number of dates and times to suit myself. On arriving at the clinic while I I waited I was offered refreshments from a very helpful and pleasant young lady.The Doctor was very kind explaining all that was needed for this medical, and reassured me throughout the time spent in the surgery. It is a very peaceful, bright and cheerful modern practise which puts you at ease and I would have no qualms in returning should I be there for a more serious condition.

Meningococcal Vaccine

Very friendly staff, Treated my 3 year old grandson with meningococcal vaccine as it is not offered as yet on the national health. My other grandson is 5 months old so he automatically qualifies for NHS vaccine. Although expensive for 2 treatments, what price do you put on your grandsons life. This clinic was only 20 minutes away from where we live. The receptionist was very knowledgeable and discussed with us the benefits of the vaccine. The doctor administering the vaccine was very kind to my grandson, treating him very gently. We go back in 2 months for the booster.
