The European Medical Clinic was set up in 1987 by Dr. Sotos Demetriou, a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with 10 years of experience in South Africa where he exercised his field of expertise at 8 different hospitals throughout the years. The clinic was established with one major aim and goal, to provide superb standards of clinical experience and excellent gynaecological care to all women within a caring and efficient environment.

The founder’s expertise, love and passion for this specific field (gynaecology & reproductive endocrinology), have led to the clinic’s continuous successful course, and have contributed to the growth and advancement of the clinic over the last 25 years.

The clinic, which has been recently renovated, is fully equipped to provide a full range of diagnostic services and a wide spectrum of procedures and operations, including ultrasounds, blood tests, colposcopy, hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, IVF, as well as first screening for ovarian cancer. Results are usually available immediately or within 24 hours depending on the nature of the test. This therefore enables our highly qualified and experienced consultants to make an immediate and accurate diagnosis, identify the problem and provide appropriate therapy.
