My wife had a shoulder Roter cup damage and got treated at this hospital. The hospital is of a very high standard, with a personal assistant assigned to each non-Korean speaker who is very helpful. The medical staff starting from the reception to the doctors are polite and experts. I can recommend this hospital to anybody.

Orthopaedist Consultation

The x-ray technician was fast and efficient and the doctor on duty answered all of my questions and explained the pain I had been feeling. Great, clean hospital in Seoul. I had hurt my knee a week earlier, but had been avoiding going to a hospital for fear it might be confusing and stressful for a foreigner. The pain in my knee persisted so I emailed the International Medical Coordinator, Erin Shin at Yonsei Sarang Hospital see if I could get a same day appointment and she responded within 5 minutes. We arranged for me to come in that afternoon. She told us exactly where to go in the hospital and met my friend and I there shortly after arriving. Erin was friendly, professional and stayed with me throughout the entire hospital visit. She translated everything with ease, made sure I got all the paperwork I needed for insurance purposes and made the entire visit quick and easy. If you are a foreigner in Korea and need to visit a hospital, I highly recommend contacting Erin Shin and Yonsei Sarang Hospital.

Knee Reconstructive Surgery

I had an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, meniscius repair and cartilage regeneration. The doctor came highly recommended as a specialist in the field of knee and spine surgery. My surgery was well-handled, successful and the surgeon left the smallest, cleanest incisions--if this is any indication of the work inside then surely it was well done. As a non-Korean speaking patient it was important to me to have doctors and staff that understood English. This hospital was even better because they have translators on staff for not only English but also Russian, Mongolian and Burmese. This made my experience so much better as I was able to understand the doctors and nurses clearly and make better decisions about my care. Erin, my translator was available to me even after I went home if I had further questions for the doctor. She really went out of her way to make sure I had an excellent experience.
