I dislocated my shoulder and two tendons were severed. Unfortunately I received bad advice from social services doctor when I was told that rehab would not be necessary! When I realised I was not able to lift the arm at all, I paid for an MRI which showed the damage. At Sta. Elena I was operated on the day after I presented, The main tendon was attached by harpoons into the shoulder, it was not possible to repair the lesser tendon. Now in rehab I am making very good progress, partly due to my hard work and of course the skill of my surgeon, Dr Javier Seara.I would recommend this clinic to anyone. For me personally, it was a lot of money, but I had no alternative. I have now taken out private health insurance! I chose St. Elena Clinic because of a friend's recommendation. My treatment in the clinic was excellent. Incredibly efficient. I would only say that there was rather a lack of compassion, or call it bedside manner from the nursing staff. I think this is quite common in Spain though.

This is the third operation I have had at Clinica Santa Elena. I have just left the hospital after a knee replacement. I cannot thank all the staff enough for their kindness, professionalism and attention to detail. Dr Seara and Dr Cordero performed the operation as a team and were superb and very supportive. Thank you.

My wife had a bad break of her humerus, Dr Seara did the operation of on the same day as assessment. A brilliant doctor.. We are on holiday here and waiting to go home. Excellent! Great surgery on a complicated fracture. Very impressive

Went for consultation re broken hip and knee replacement. Had x-rays and saw Orthopaedic surgeon. Later had knee replacement surgery. Still in recovery and attending at the clinic.Was quoted reasonable price for the surgery and it in fact cost slightly less. Very good. Surgeon spoke excellent English. Gave me full confidence in the treatment. All staff were helpful and professional. Clinic is clean, well-equipped and busy.Chose this due to proximity and very happy with it

I had hip replacement surgery to my left hip. I was on the waiting list for Anteqeura hospital but the waiting was getting longer and longer. I used the internet to find a reputable doctor and private clinic. I would recommend to a friend this clinic and the surgeon. Good value for money, swift and efficient service. A bustling, busy clinic. A short wait to see the doctor. Friendly efficient staff.The surgeon spoke very good English , explained everything clearly and has a good bedside manner.An Xray was taken and in 10 minutes we were able to discuss the treatment required. I arranged to be admitted for surgery the same week.

I had a knee replacement and later back surgery for a compressed nerve. Recently I had cryosurgery for a bone cancer tumor. All surgeries done by Dr Seara, for me the best Orthopedic surgeon! My hospital experience was also very good. Great staff and nice nurses who cared.
