Chartered Physiotherapist with 25 years experience. Completed 2 Masters Degrees in Manual Therapy and Musculoskeletal Health. From early in my career I began practicing and teaching yoga and pilates and began to develop a holistic approach. This led me to studying craniosacral therapy and later visceral manipulation and somatic movement education. Most recently I've been delving deeply into study of trauma and the Nervous System as it is so involved in any chronic health problems.
As a result I have a very holistic approach that is suited both to acute injuries and chronic longstanding problems. My main interests are women's health (pelvic health/pre and post natal) and pain. Holistic bodywork sessions will usually address body parts away from the site of pain because of the interconnectness of the fascial system.
I also teach yoga and workshops/courses on pelvic health and the nervous system.
I had three years of painful movement in upper arm and shoulder, partly due to the side effects of medication. One appointment has produced a considerable improvement. Message, exercises and some helpful insights into lifestyle continue to help this improvement. I chose Seapoint because it is a one person practice; seemed to have the speciality I sought and was well reviewed. Sinead inspires confidence; I found her to be perceptive and took the necessary time to address the issues I had.
Very happy with treatment. Will be returning.
Best Physio,I have been to,wealth of knowledge, genuine ,care, compassion, there are not enough stars ,to give. Excellent.
Before I met Sinead ,I had totally given up,had lost all hope of ever regaining any quality of life again.Sinead, invested her time and care, compassion and knowledge, in me,I have since regained some sense, of hope and dignity again.Having had horrific experiences of health care ,before her period in my life. With Sincere thanks James
I went with tension in my shoulders and neck to get advice on posture improvement techniques and a few questions about a shoulder injury from swimming. Very helpful advice and instruction. Neck and shoulder massage was also excellent. Would definitely return.
