Full description of what we do just below:
Get out of pain quickly.
One of the first and most key things we do is to get you out of pain quickly with hands on treatment. Pain affects everything and stops us moving correctly. It stops muscles working and ultimately stops us enjoying the activity we love.
No long term commitments or unnecessary physio sessions.
The majority of patients, especially those who have pain less than 5 weeks are pain free and back doing the activity they love very quickly. 8/10 patients who come with back or leg pain that is there less than 5 weeks are pain free in less than 3 sessions.
Stay out of pain long-term
For those who have had pain for months or years you need a clear plan to get out of pain and stay out of pain. Get an individualised assessment to tell you why you have your pain and an individualised plan to fix WHY you have pain. This is key to staying pain free long-term. Fix the reason for the problem not the symptoms. Stop looking for quick fixes. You need to take control of getting right.
Insurance Accepted.
Chartered physiotherapy approved by all major insurance companies (VHI, AVIVA and Glo Health)
G.P and surgeon referrals accepted
No referral is necessary for the Solutions Physiotherapy Kilkenny clinic. However, if you have attended a G.P or surgeon bring along a letter of referral and we will liaise with the other medical professionals involved.
I suffer with chronic pain and needed assistance and advice for pain management. Through a comprehensive examination I discovered other factors in my body were also contributing to my body pain. One example was a weak core. I was delighted with the experience and learned a lot of new information. I am now on a treatment plan to help me strengthen my weak areas and improve the overall function of my body. This, in turn, will improve my pain. The doctor was very helpful, knowledgeable and interested in helping me and I learned from him.
