I picked Perfect Balance having found an offer on Instagram. I was a bit sceptical at first but was so glad I went. Very happy with Rachel at St Albans. I went in really miserable having overdone my prep for a ski holiday and ended up with a knee problem a few weeks before my trip. She was thorough in her assessment and came up with a diagnosis and plan to get me through my holiday albeit strapped up and with lots of post-ski massage and stretching. I have continued with my sessions with Rachel and exercises at home and have turned a corner and have recently started returning to my regular exercise routine. Rachel is very empathetic, listens and is clearly very experienced. She picked up that my knee problem didn’t originate there and was the consequence of weaknesses elsewhere such as hip, VMO and IT band. Fix these and the problem goes away!

I have really valued my sessions with Rachel so far, she is very empathetic and supportive. I have knee issues, which are frustrating, but feel positive about my recovery plans and feel like I am making progress. I struggle to find time for rehab exercises with a full-time job etc but Rachel keeps it manageable, which is really appreciated.

I was very impressed with my initial consultation with Rachel. She is very professional and thorough and easy to talk to. My problem is sciatica which started in November, was getting better then I had a relapse and am struggling with painkillers and getting about. She has a sympathetic and positive approach.

Great service - this was a recommendation from a fellow runner at Athena running group. Really felt in safe hands with Rachel who listened to my issue and was able to provide a clear treatment plan. The practice is in a great central location with parking - which was really helpful given I was hobbling into the appointment!
I have been seeing Rachel for a ruptured Achilles tendon since December last year. She has kept me motivated along the journey of recovery, and has the best interests of her clients in mind always. She is truly caring about the welfare of her clients, and I always leave the session feeling one step closer to recovery. Thanks Rachel
My daughter had spinal fusion surgery in Dec23 and required post surgery physio. Rachel was very knowledgeable and recommended helpful exercises and advice to correct posture and build core strength. Rachel made her feel at ease straight away and the course of treatment has visibly improved my daughter’s posture and given her confidence. Thank you Rachel.

The diagnosis and treatment were excellent. My back problem has improved as a result. Stephan was especially helpful. A pity that it cost so much. The clinic and facilities are good
