Liposuction, Breast Lift, Laser Eye Surgeon Consultation

lipo, breast lift, fat transfer, under eye correction Everything went really well. The surgeon was very good at making you feel at ease, and the place if modern, pleasant, super clean, professional. Recovery was fast and the pain afterwards was minimal. I had lipo, a breast lift, fat transfer and a small under eye correction. I am very pleased with the results of all these. The fat on my legs has not returned, my scars are healing. I recommend Singelberg and would go back. The surgeon is kind, professional, and very approachable. The aftercare was good too.

Arm Lift, Tummy Tuck

Tummy tuck and arm lift I'm 6 days post op having had a tummy tuck and arm lift with Dr Oelbrandt. The service has been brilliant and Dr Oelbrandt is an amazing surgeon. Had consultation in London, Dr Oelbrandt explained everything thoroughly. Travelled to Belgium Sunday afternoon, was in theatre 8am Monday morning and back home on Thursday. The results so far are wonderful. Can't thank Dr Oelbrandt enough and would recommend him to anyone considering surgery!

Breast Implants, Breast Lift

I'm very happy with the whole experience. Dr oelbrandt i s really nice, very detail oriented, answered all my questions and I'm very happy with my breast augmentation. To give further details: I live in USA and wanted to do my surgery in Belgium for family support, ( if u have a toddle you need help for at least one week !!) so I choose my surgeon based on recommendations :) dr Oelbrandt did answer all my questions by mail even before my first consultation. I did put a down payment to book the surgery, choose my implants and that was it :) I m 1.65 m with 55 kg and choose a mentor 375cc high profile, a c cup or dd cup ( depends on the bra ) My friends told me that they wished bigger size so I did bigger :) I m very happy :)) keep in mind that u need recovery time and u have a weird feeling ( I was very very sensitive!) for a few weeks but after that it's awesome !!!! Thank you dr Oelbrandt :))) Nicely located, friendly staff and awesome surgeon !!! I got there early, drop my stuff and got ready in the recovery room. last discussion with dr oelbrandt and then ready for surgery. When I woke up, a few hours later, I was in the recovery room with my mom. :) I couldn't do a follow up apt so my primary care doc removed my stitches , now it has been 3 months and it looks very natural and I don't need a push up bra anymore !!!

Facelift

Deep plane face lift (SMAS type) lateral brow lift, fat transfer to upper eyelid I went to Belgium on the 5th of September 2013 and went to the clinic to see Doctor Oelbrandt. He was very understanding as to what I wanted done. My surgery was booked for 8am the next day, I arrived and felt very comfortable and my nerves soon disappeared. I came round after surgery with no pain. The doctor visited my hotel the same evening and the next day as was well. I returned home the day after and am so pleased I went ahead with the surgery and also the Doctor Oelbrandt, who I can't thank enough, is a top surgeon, 10 out of 10. Many thanks to Doctor O and his staff for making me feel so comfortable and relaxed.

Fat Transfer, Laser Eye Surgeon Consultation, Breast Implant Revision

implants removed, cupsulectomy, with fat transfer from the abdomen to the breasts. He is a master at his craft. the consultation was efficient and clear, the clinic in Belgium was- 5* , the team- knowlegable and very pleasant. Other surgeons in the UK refused to do all the procedures required in one go, some refused because of my age too (over 60), but the doctor, listened, saw what was requested and deemed it possible.3 months on, having just had my follow up meeting - I can say that the various procedures were a great success. I would not hesitate to highly recommend the Dr. and the clinic. Thank you.

Thank you your review. What is the difference between capsulotomy and capsulectomy? These two procedures are done when there is a serious degree of capsular contracture. Here I try to explain the treatment of this condition in a simplified manner. Type 4 , most severe contracture : A capsulectomy is necessary when the capsule is sick : this is when the capsule is thick and calcified. In that case it has to be removed. A sick capsule has to be removed because it may contain bacteria, and this may lead to new capsule formation. A thick capsule behaves like a foreign body, and should thereforebe removed. Type 3 capsular contracture : the treatment here is Capsulotomy : is done when the capsule is not very thick, but when the implant is squeezed together by the capsule, causing pain and hardness. Through an inframmary incision (= in the breast fold) the implant is removed, and then the capsule is incised so that the implant gets more space. At that time usually a new implant is inserted. If the implant is over the muscle, a pocket change is done towards UNDER the muscle, resulting in a better coverage, and less rippling, sagging, more cleavage, etc... Kind regards Dr Oelbrandt

Rhinoplasty

I had rhinoplasty at the Singleberg clinic with Dr Oelbrandt. The atmosphere was very relaxed and I was not pressured into the surgery. The price was much cheaper in Belgium compared to those in London. The result was excellent and very natural looking which was important to me. I recommend Dr Oelbrandt and the Singleberg Clinic to anyone considering surgery. Dr O also has an office in London which he visits frequently and the trip to Belgium is quick an easy. A hassle free experience! :)

Cheek Filler

I had a cheek augmentation with Dr. Norman van der Dussen. I had the impression my face looked a little gloomy and disproportionate and figured out it had something to do with the shape of my cheeks. The reason why I chose Dr. van der Dussen after a longer research:1) First of all I wanted a surgeon who is experienced which he absolutely is.2) Secondly, I wanted a cranio maxillo facial surgeon who knows the human face and its bone structure inside out.3) Now we come to the most important point: As Beverly Hills beauty surgeon Francis Palmer rightly remarked the problem about cheek augmentations isn't the difficulty of the procedure. The skills you need are moderate, of course you need the right training and education, but that's it. The bigger problem is: Most surgeons don't know what they are doing, they don't have an eye for the proportions of the face, for the ideal of beauty they are searching to create. That's why many results aren't as good as they could be, because surgeons don't chose the right implants or don't understand sufficiently what exactly they should change about the face. Norman van der Dussen is one of the leading experts in Europe as regards feminization surgery. What has this to do with a cheek augmentation in a male face? Well, everything! Dr. van der Dussen has an absolute eye for what makes a female and a male face beautiful, where the small differences lie! Some surgeons operate a male face as if it was a female one thereby creating e.g. too round cheeks. Van der Dussen has a very good understanding for the overall beauty of a face and the gender differences. I wasn't dissapointed in my choice. First as regards attitude Dr. van der Dussen is a very modest man who tries his best to make his patients happy and that is a very good attitude for an aesthetic surgeon. He has a no bullshit approach to surgery and tells you exactly what he thinks must be done and what can be achieved and what not. His assistant in the Singelberg Clinic is a very nice person and I always felt welcome. The surgery happens in a central regional hospital where everything is at hand in case of need. The staff there was very friendly and helpful as well. The result is really good, my face has a nice flow. Van der Dussen didn't just insert one cheek implant, but several smaller ones in order to guarantee optimal proportions. I can highly recommend him and his team.

Tummy Tuck, Liposuction

Female 48 Tummy Tuck and liposuction Dr Oelbrandt Belgium, April 2015I have three procedures carried out by Dr Oelbrandt and I am absolutely delighted with the results. I first of all had liposuction seven years ago and the results were great.Then last year, I had a full tummy tuck with muscle tightening. The results are better than I expected. I am absolutely over the moon! Then this year liposuction on my hips and fat transfer to my bottom. This balanced my big hips and small bottom out beautifully, and was recommended by Dr Oelbrandt. Great advice from Dr Oelbrandt, results are great.I am so happy with the "new me" I feel great in a bikini for the first time ever! I find Dr Oelbrandt charming and very personable. He took time to understand what I was looking to achieve and gave good advice and suggestions.His clinic and staff are very professional and speak fluent English. Travelling to Belgium was surprisingly easy. I am based in Manchester so I got a ferry from Hull and then about an hours drive the other end to his clinic in Belgium.I would recommend if you go for a full tummy tuck as I did. To take someone with you to assist. I also wished that I had taken a wheel chair as I could not walk far for a couple weeks. I would definitely recommend Dr Oelbrandt - and have! I chose Dr Oelbrandt having done research on the internet. I was considering having my first ever procedure - liposuction. I looked for an experienced surgeon and I had a limited budget so checked out both the uk and abroad. I did not see any negative reviews about him or his clinic in Belgium. Indeed I only found positive reviews. So I went for a consultation in Manchester. (This was seven years ago and since then Dr Oelbrandt only offers consultations in London), I found Dr Oelbrandt to be very professional and highly experienced. He explained fully about the operation and the results that I could expect. He put my mind at ease and I left the consultation feeling confident that this man could give me what I was looking for.

Blepharoplasty, Eyelid Surgery

At 45 years old, I have had lower eye bags for 10 years, which I could not solve with face cream or early nights. This was my first time considering plastic surgery, so I was a nervous candidate. A friend from UK recommended Dr Oelbrandt to me. Before the procedure I had two consultations with him. (I live in Belgium). I explained that I didn't want to look 'really different', I just wanted my lower eye bags gone. Dr Oelbrandt is passionate about his profession, he listened to my concerns and gave me personalised, honest and realistic advice/answers. The procedure lasted 1 hour, I did not need painkillers afterwards, just lots of rest during the healing process (10-12 days). I'm very glad that I chose Dr Oelbrandt. It's a relief to wake up in the morning looking fresh. Singelberg Clinic is quiet, clean and easily accessible by train from Brussels. I wanted a discreet place and it was very discreet. Dr Oelbrandt met me at reception. Confidentiality was respected at all times.
