I highly recommend this clinic - I can't wait to go back!

The laser technicians at the Calgary Institute of Plastic Surgery are amazing. They are well educated and trained with lasers. Both times I received treatments, the laser technician walked me through what she was doing and ensured that I was comfortable. The micro-laser peel required numbing cream - I relaxed in the waiting room with a cup of coffee while I waited for it to work. My micro-laser peel didn't just get rid of acne scars, it also lightened one scar that I've had since I was in Kindergarten. I highly recommend this clinic - I can't wait to go back! I've been to the Calgary Institute of Plastic Surgery twice. The first time I showed up for my appointment, the laser tech advised me that I was too tanned for the treatment and explained what could happen to my skin if she proceeded. I was so grateful that they took the time to evaluate my skin prior to treatment. The staff felt so bad that I couldn't get the treatment that they offered me laser hair removal on my underarms that hadn't been touched by the sun. I went back after the summer for my micro-laser peel. I had instructions emailed to me prior to my treatment including what to expect and post treatment instructions. I am so impressed with the staff and professionalism here. My face looked red and greasy for three days (it got it's nickname "weekend peel" for a reason) and now it looks fantastic. I get so many compliments - and it's all thanks to this amazing clinic.
