Ms Fitzgerald has undertaken many years of training in all aspects of her speciality. Having completed her higher surgical training in plastic surgery on the only recognised training programme in Ireland, she holds the FRCSI (Plast) qualification and a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. She is registered on the Specialist Register in plastic surgery in Ireland (IMC 060611) and the UK (GMC 7320552)

Ms Fitzgerald is passionate about delivering high quality, evidence-based, safe treatments to her patients. In addition to the years spent qualifying as a plastic surgeon, she has undertaken additional training in aesthetic surgery and medical lasers, spending almost two years on internationally-recognised fellowship programmes in the UK and the Netherlands gaining experience and additional qualifications. She is the only plastic surgeon practicing in Ireland who has undergone such extensive training in medical lasers.
