Tumescent Liposuction

The word “tumescent” means swelling. That is in fact the state in which we would want the layer of the unwanted fat to be so that it can be removed safely and without harm to the fat itself nor to the skin’s connective tissues, allowing the skin to retract back beautifully without sagging.

The Procedure

A cocktail of medication is infused to numb the targeted areas and to swell up the subcutaneous fat layer. This concoction include local anesthetic and medication to constrict the blood vessels; hence, blood loss is negligible. Fat cells are removed safely and painlessly using a blunt canula that poses no risk to soft tissues, blood vessels or internal organs. The entire procedure takes between 3.5 to 4.5 hours. Tumescent liposuction is effective onupper and lower abdomen, waist and love handles, hips, thighs, arms, back and bra areas, knees, chin, jowl and neck.

LIPO-TRANSFER

Pure, healthy fat cells harvested from you during tumescent liposuction can be used to enhance your other body parts such as the breasts, buttocks and hips, and can even be used for facial augmentations (chin, cheeks, forehead etc).

Who is a good candidate for lipo-transfer…
