Dr.Capellan is a board certified Cosmetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and a Fellow of the Philippine Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (PAPRAS). He was awarded his bachelor’s degree at the University of the Philippines Los Banos with a major in Biology. He then proceeded to take his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of the East–Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (UERMMMC) and subsequently passed the Medical Board Exam. He was accepted into the General Surgery Residency program of Rizal Medical Center (RMC). For his sub-specialty training, he was accepted into the Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic fellowship program of RMC (Consortium I), which is one of the accredited training program sanctioned by the Philippine Association of Plastic Reconstructive And Aesthetic Surgeons (PAPRAS), the only organization recognized by the Philippine College of Surgeons as truly representative of plastic surgeon-specialist practicing both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. During the final year of his training, he was named Chief Fellow of the program. In his spare time, Dr. Capellan does volunteer work for “Operation Smile” which is an non-profit international organization dedicated to helping children with cleft lip and palate deformities.

Dr Capellan also has extensive experience in providing services to patients based in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. He performs a variety of procedures to improve facial and body issues such as liposuction, rhinoplasty (noselift) , breast augmentation, blepharoplasty (eyebag surgery), facelifts, and tummy-tuck. Dr Capellan also performs other body contouring procedures like body lifts, back lifts, arm lifts and thigh lifts.
