After having 4 children I was left with an excess of skin(not fat) on my lower tummy, for many years I was trying to get rid of this but, as it was not fat but skin this was never going to happen. I searched many clinics to find a reputable surgeon for a procedure to remove this. From the very first consultation in a very modern, professional office, I was reassured by Dr Valverde and his staff, they talked me through the whole process with all the details of what was going to happen. A clinical blood test and cardiology test was carried out, a meeting with the anaesthetist was also taken with a full explanation of the routine. Meeting the surgeon, I was shown on a TV monitor before and after pictures of other people who have had this operation. I went to the hospital (with my husband) and we were given a private room where we both had a bed. I was prepared and taken to the theatre where the full team were very kind, explained again what they would be doing. After the operation a full team of nurses were on hand, checking every 1/2 hour on my dressing, temperature and blood pressure. The following day I was checked by the surgeon and within the hour was discharged. I was given a prescription for all the antibiotics and painkillers. 4 days later an appointment with the doctor and the drips were removed, dressings changed and a compression corset was put on, this made movement a lot easier. While this whole procedure was not painful it was a little sore, but after the drips were removed I was very much able to move without any problems. This whole process has been very professional with the utmost care and advice from the whole team, with the knowledge I can call the surgeon, Dr Valverde for any help or advice. I would recommend Valverde and Arpino without any hesitation.
