Dr. JP Barret specializes in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and is a member of SECPRE (The "Spanish Society of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery").

Dr. Barret has been working for more than 20 years to improve the appearance, self-esteem and quality of life of his patients. He has worked for years in international hospitals located in the USA, the UK and the Netherlands.

He is currently Chief of Service of the Vall d'Hebron Hospital in Barcelona (Spain) and exerts his own private practice in his office at Centre Mèdic Francesc Macià. He performs the surgeries at CIMA Hospital.

He is world-renowned in the fields of reconstructive surgery, complex tissue transplants and facial aesthetic surgery. Dr. Barret is one of the few surgeons in the world who uses endoscopic techniques in face lifts.

In the year 2010, he successfully carried out the first full face transplant of the world. This was a pioneering operation that brought Spanish healthcare to the front page of many international news sources.
