The ‘IMED Hospitales’ group is located in the south east of Spain in the province of Alicante on the Costa Blanca and in Valencia. The group was formed in 2004 when the first hospital in Benidorm, the IMED Levante (previously known as the Hospital de Levante) was inaugurated.

Based on the experience gained other polyclinics and hospitals soon followed. IMED Teulada polyclinic opening in 2009, IMED Elche hospital in 2011, IMED Torrevieja polyclinic in 2015. In 2017 the group opened the flagship IMED Valencia in Burjassot, Valencia.

Today I visited the very trusted Dr Natalia Szlarb. I usually use IMed Torrovejca, but I travelled to Elche purely for an appointment with her. I don’t want to say my personal reasons for this visit. DR Natalia Szlarb ( Gynocologist )Please may I say that this lady is the most professional, caring, exceptional Gynaecologist I have had the pleasure to meet. Dr Natalia is outstanding, clear and she explains everything. Her skills are so heartfelt. In Spain, I’m afraid to say many professionals struggle with care and compassion even when they are good at what they do.Dr Natalia makes women here in Spain feel safe with women’s issues. Dr Natalia, please never leave and continue to help us ladies With heartfelt thanks.

I decided to have liposuction done at the IMED. I felt comfortable with them because a good friend of mine is receiving treatment for throat Cancer here - I usually drop him off, so I’m familiar with the place and I like the way they do things. Several years ago, when I first came to Spain, I had a really bad experience with a smaller clinic (I went for a thread lift and got the distinct impression that the doctor cared more about making money than helping his patients). Because of this, I tend to have more faith in the bigger, private hospitals. The IMED is about 40 minutes away from my home in Hondon valley so traveling was convenient. I’m not a big person, but I’ve always had this domed belly that made me feel like I was three or four months pregnant. My stomach has been a problem for years, but it’s a thing of the past now. The doctor got rid of the ‘dome’ on my belly, and for 1900 Euros (which covered the stay in the hospital, the anesthetic, the aftercare, and the actual procedure itself), he completely changed my life. After having liposuction, you can be left with some unevenness, which the consultant explained and suggested a course of treatments costing €480 which improve this. Before I had the surgery, I met with the consultant, who took pictures of me. I also met the anesthetist, and had bloods taken and X-rays. I felt as if I was getting a very good, thorough service for the price I paid. The aftercare is excellent, and there’s always someone available when I need to ask a question or have a concern. The receptionists (who are very knowledgeable), communicate with me in Spanish and English, but the actual consultant who did the surgery has an excellent command of English. The results are fantastic and I’m able to wear all these gorgeous frocks without feeling self-conscious about my tummy. I don’t personally wear bikinis, but I look pretty good in a normal swimsuit now. I’m so impressed with the service that my sister and I are seriously considering having facelifts done at this same hospital.

Super service and treatment throughout the procedure. Post opp very attentive and aftercare fantastic. So pleased with the operation and results of upper eyelid surgery. Can highly recommend this clinic and Doctor Pasquale Giuliano has done a wonderful job. Clinic ilahy and hospital IMED are fantastic. I'm so happy with the results.
