Vertical Scar Breast Reduction.I had a breast reduction surgery in March this year and my only regret is not having done it sooner! I've gone from a JJ cup to a D cup and could not be happier. The whole process was extremely professional and Lisa very quickly makes you feel at ease. The methods used and any associated risks were clearly explained and I felt I was well prepared for the operation itself.The operation went smoothly and the staff and facilities were all great at the hospital. After being discharged the following day, the pain was well controlled by the drugs supplied. I experienced some pain and discomfort, but it was nothing major and far less than I imagined it would have been. I am now nearly 4 months’ post-surgery and just love my new breasts! I have more confidence, can wear clothes I felt very conscious about wearing before, my shoulder/neck pain has gone and the grooves in my shoulders are reducing. My posture is so much better and I also believe the number of headaches I get have reduced. I can exercise much more easily now and just love not having to wear cumbersome under-wired sports bras.I am very happy with the surgical technique used, and even though I still have months of healing to go for the scars, they are healing well and barely noticeable round the nipple area. Lisa is obviously a very skilled surgeon with a very professional team behind her, and the facts that everyone is so lovely and approachable is an added bonus. Any post-surgery questions and communications I had were responded to very promptly.I highly recommend this surgery to anyone considering it, it really has been a life changing operation for me! The clinic itself was staffed by polite, friendly and helpful staff. The hospital room was comfortable and spotlessly clean with good facilities.

I am 37 and I had a secondary breast reduction with Miss Sacks a few months ago. I had the vertical incision - she is one of the few UK surgeons who offer this technique. My initial surgery (with a different surgeon) was approximately 15 years ago - I had the anchor incision at the time. Within that time frame, my breasts grew back to a 30 GG cup (I suspect due to two pregnancies and some weight gain, although my BMI stayed within normal range) and were sitting really low on my chest. I had pretty horrid back pain, no clothes fit right and I looked enormous even at a BMI of 21. I couldn't really run or do intensive exercise.I saw two other surgeons in the Bristol area prior to seeing Miss Sacks. They both wanted to do an anchor incision and one was clear I wouldn't be able to go to a C/D cup without a free nipple graft which I wasn't happy to do.Miss Sacks came across as really professional and able to listen to what I wanted from the surgery. She was attentive and discussed all of my concerns. The pre-op and post-op care was brilliant, she offered so many opportunities for me to discuss any issues or concerns I had. She offers long term follow up, which is something nobody else I've spoken to seems to offer!I am still in awe of how smooth the entire process was, compared to what I had previously experienced during my first BR and to what I was expecting. The surgery was virtually pain-free after the first night in hospital, when I had pain relief promptly. I was able to walk around so much quicker than anticipated and use my arms. I am now three months post-op.I finally feel I have the breasts I've always wanted - I am now a 30C/D. All the clothes I try on fit, all the off the shelf bras fit - it's really such a magical feeling, after all these years of having to buy Bravissimo bras! I think my posture is better, certainly, my back and neck pain is much improved. I think the result exceeds my expectations, especially considering this was a secondary breast reduction and a vertical incision (which lots of surgeons will tell you can't achieve a significant reduction!). Definitely, worth the money, I wish I had it done sooner!

I had a vertical breast reduction 3 weeks ago J cup to DD and I could never have imagined in my wildest dreams how much of a positive difference this would make both emotionally and physically - I am absolutely thrilled with the result. My self-confidence has improved, as has as my posture. I can now look in a mirror and feel positive about myself. I cannot believe that after such a short time the numbness and pain in my neck and shoulder, which I had for years, is no longer there.Lisa and Liana have been excellent from the start of the process through to follow ups post op. I would highly recommend, Lisa did such an amazing thing for me.

I had been considering an abdominoplasty for some time before deciding to go ahead. I researched lots of surgeons, patients experiences and before/after photos. I was concerned about the appearance of my tummy post-op, especially as some women seemed to end up with a very unnatural looking naval which makes it very obvious that they've had abdominal surgery. I decided to contact Lisa after seeing her before/after pics. She pays great attention to detail and every operation is tailored to the individual. Needless to say, I am very glad I decided to choose Lisa as my surgeon. I couldn't be happier with the result. A year down the line, my scar is barely visible, my tummy button looks as natural as it did many years ago (pre-babies!) and I feel slim, healthy, my posture has improved and the lower back pain I suffered from had virtually gone. My experience at the Nuffield was second to none. The pre-op assessments are thorough and there are many opportunities to discuss any concerns. Aftercare is excellent, the nurses are friendly and caring and make sure you are comfortable and pain-free. The facilities are spotless, the food is wonderful and every care is taken to ensure your experience is good.

Having Rhinoplasty has not just given me a new nose, it has given me a new life! I used to constantly feel self conscious and had absolutely no confidence. When I woke up after my surgery I experienced the feeling of being pretty for the first time in my life. I now feel so empowered and happy in my own skin that I have the confidence to follow my dreams in life and travel the world. If you are considering surgery, there are risks that you need to carefully consider. I am thankful that my surgery was a success but for others it can turn out to be a disaster. I underwent open setpo rhinoplasty with Lisa Sacks in June last year, after many years of waiting!! I was always sure I wanted it done just waiting to find the right surgeon. I found out about Lisa from a friend of mine who also had surgery and recommended her to me. I went on to do my own and research and was pretty sure I wanted Lisa, after meeting her and her colleagues I was 100%!Lisa said my nose would be very complicated to operate on as it was asymmetrical, had a bump on the bridge, my nostrils needed taking in, the tip needed to be reduced, and the list goes on! She said she could make it better, but it would never be perfect. I can honestly say, after my operation (now being 7 months post op) to me it is perfect!! It has changed my life. My confidence has changed massivey. I always wore my hair down to cover my face, now I wear my hair up soo much I even had an undercut put in the back! I can wait in busy store queues and drive in my car without turning my head or worrying what I look like from the side, I had my septum pierced to distract people, that is now gone forever. My scars are barely visable, and easily covered with makeup. The feeling in the tip has came back, and my breathing has improved.Lisa exceeded my expectations both as a surgeon and as a person. Lisa herself is lovely, she gives you realistic expectations and is very personal to you. She made my nose amazing whilst also making sure it would suit my face and my height.The clinic was amazing throughout the whole experience. It was very close to where I live which was great. Every member of staff were always helpful, welcoming, supportive and even though it was an operation, I honestly enjoyed every minute! I had a breast lift with Lisa and I am totally happy with the result. To start with I thought I may need implants but Lisa explained that I would be fine without them. She was right - I now have pert 32C boobs that are like a 25 years olds. Before the lift they were 'empty' and droopy from breastfeeding four children. The operation went smoothly and the aftercare was brilliant. Highly recommend. Wonderful hospital - very comfortable and excellent care.
