Plastic Surgeon Consultation

For many years, I have always been unhappy with the appearance and feel of my breasts and have, on many occasions, considered getting implants in order to boost my confidence. I am due to get married in July 2024 and knowing how important it is for me to feel good in my dress, my partner asked whether I wanted to consider having breast surgery.My partner doesn’t like the feel of implants so I initially carried out research into a fat transfer procedure to (hopefully) allow me have the breasts I longed for as well as keep the feel as natural as possible.I found Professor Mahajan worked from a private hospital close to where I live and was able to arrange a consultation to discuss my options. I explained my concerns about the naturalness of the breasts after a procedure and after an examination, Professor Mahajan was able to recommend to my that I had a breast uplift rather than implants. My breasts still contained enough fat and tissue that this would be possible.It was not something I had considered and immediately felt better that both myself and my partner would get what we wanted. I undertook the procedure in March 2024 at Spire Hospital, in Elland and I am so glad I did. I am thoroughly pleased with how they look and sit and, for the first time in years, I was able to wear an outfit for my birthday without having to stuff my breasts in a bra. I also had my first dress fitting recently and they look amazing in my dress and I can’t wait to walk down the aisle. The treatment is great. Professor Mahajan is incredibly knowledgeable and very professional and friendly, putting me completely at ease (it’s the first time I’ve ever had surgery) and I would 100% recommend Professor Mahajan to anyone wanting to undertake cosmetic surgery. If I choose to have more surgery in the future, Professor Mahajan will be my number one choice – I wish I’d done it sooner!

Facelift

What can I say, from the first consultation to my post op review, I was so happy.Having considered a facelift for some time, having just turned 50, I just didn't want to go under general for several reasons, so finding Professor Ajay Mahajan offered the AM lift under local I was overjoyed. The whole procedure took 4 hours, the nurse on duty was an amazing support, they played pop music & the professor was so professional in his approach, he explained what he was doing & reassured me throughout. Whilst It was uncomfortable in parts, I wasn't in pain.The recovery was great, I am a non smoker/Drinker, so I had very minimal bruising, just some swelling (worse on day 2 & 3) however after 7 days it subsided, the stitching also healed really well & 3 months in I just have a little bit of redness to some areas & a little bit of numbness. Which is perfectly normal.The result itself is unbelievable, I look natural but feel like it has taken 10 years off me, people compliment me all the time but can't tell what it is, that's the secret to a wonderful surgeon like Ajay. Having paid significantly less under local, the recovery being a lot easier & the skill of Professor Mahajan, I would recommend it....1000%

Tummy Tuck, Liposuction

I have just come back from my first holiday in 12 years where I've worn a bikini!! My body confidence is through the roof and it's all thanks to Ajay Mahajan and his life changing surgery. I had a tummy tuck, muscle repair and lipo with him in September last year. From the first consultation I knew Ajay Mahajan would be the best surgeon for this procedure - especially as I'd waited over 10 years to have this done following a twin pregenancy, I wanted to ensure I only went with the best for this and I am so glad I did. His experience and knowledge put me at ease from the very start, every question I asked was answered and I felt in very good hands. Even his PA Nicola was exceptional and super helpful. The surgery went as well as planned and I cried when I saw my results, I couldn't believe how good they were and as the months passed they just got better and better. I'm now 9 months and love wearing crop tops any time I can! The aftercare I received from him was exceptional with regular check ups, particularly because I had to keep my drains in a little longer than the average paitent- but I never felt concerned about this as knew I was being well cared for, even when I returned home i had regular appointments and received great advice on how to aid my home recovery. I couldn't get over what a breeze my whole recovery was and that at the end of my four months I was able to go on a skiing holiday and be fully back in the gym. I'm just over the moon with it all and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ajay Mahajan to anyone - even friends and family have commented on my new found confidence and how I carry myself completely different to how I used to.

Plastic Surgeon Consultation

After many years of feeling insecure and self-conscious about my appearance due to having small breasts, I am now feeling confident and do not have to think about what I can/cannot wear. Professor Mahajan was recommended by a close friend who had previously undergone surgery at The Yorkshire Clinic. Although at first, I was feeling very anxious and apprehensive, I was soon made to feel at ease and comfortable. At my first consultation, Professor Mahajan was very informative and reassuring of which method/implant size would be best for me. Within 3 months I had my first consultation, the procedure carried out and my 2-week review. I am blown away by the minimal scaring and how tucked away they are! I am over the moon with the results and wish I had done it much sooner! I can’t wait to see how they settle over the coming months. I cannot thank Professor Mahajan enough and feel sad that the experience is over 😊

ARM LIFT SURGERY.I had noticed over the last few years that the elasticity on my inner arms was getting worse & this had started to bother me. A friend recommended Professor Ajay Mahajan to me as an exceptional surgeon & assured me I’d be in safe hands. I read his reviews on Trustpilot which were all extremely positive so I made an appointment to see him.The appointment was in a very relaxed environment, Prof. Mahajan was very reassuring & informative so I came away feeling very confident that I was indeed in very safe hands.The surgery was pretty much pain-free & I had no issues at all. I was given all the relevant information on how to look after my arms & told to get in touch with the surgery immediately if I needed any assistance or help at all. The aftercare service & nurses that assisted with my dressings & any questions I had were also very professional & friendly, nothing was too much trouble.I’m now 6 months post op & I can’t believe how well my arms are healing, yes there’s a scar but it really is flat, thin and is blending back in nicely!!I’m so pleased I had the operation done, my arms are firm again & I don’t see the issues that bothered me before when I now look in the mirror every morning!!I can fully recommend Professor Ajay Mahajan, he’s a lovely man & an exceptional surgeon.Cheers Tim.

I wanted to share my experience having labiaplasty surgery with Dr. Mahajan at Evolve Medical clinic in Leeds, as I know how nerve-wracking it can be to research this procedure and find the right surgeon.Initial ConsultationFrom the very first consultation, Dr. Mahajan put me completely at ease. His approach was both friendly and thoroughly professional - he took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions without making me feel embarrassed, and never rushed the appointment. I felt genuinely listened to and understood, which meant everything when discussing such a personal procedure.Surgery DayI'll be honest - I was quite apprehensive about being awake during the procedure. The anaesthetic injections were very uncomfortable initially, but Dr. Mahajan and his team were incredibly reassuring throughout. Once the local anaesthetic took effect, the procedure itself was surprisingly comfortable, at times when I felt a slight pinch more anaesthesia was injected. I felt very relaxed throughout.The nurses and team at Evolve deserve a special mention - they were absolutely wonderful. So caring and supportive from the moment I arrived until I was settled in the recovery room. Their kindness and professionalism made such a difference to my experience.Recovery ProcessThe first few weeks post-surgery were challenging, I won't sugarcoat it! There was significant swelling and I was quite uncomfortable, but paracetamol helped take the edge off the discomfort along with taking things very easy.Practical recovery details:• I wore sanitary pads for around 6 days post-surgery as there is a fair amount of spotting during this time• Toileting required extra care - I used a water bottle spray and very gently dabbed dry with wet tissues - this careful routine continued for about 4-5 weeks• After removing the pads, I was most comfortable in some comfy baggy trousers with no underwear for 4 weeks (the underwear seemed to rub a little too much)• I could walk around the house immediately and managed gentle walks outside within the first week• I returned to work after 2 weeks (I'd definitely recommend taking the full 2 weeks off work or any activities)• Sitting for long periods remained uncomfortable for 4-5 weeks, but from the 4-week mark, each day got progressively better• I applied a bit of Vaseline from week 4 onwards to prevent clothes rubbing• The dissolvable stitches were completely gone by 4 weeks• I avoided strenuous exercise for 8 weeks and returned to all my normal activities (including biking and swimming) by week 10At my follow-up appointment, Dr. Mahajan showed me my before and after pictures, and I genuinely couldn't believe the transformation. The results exceeded all my expectations.Final ThoughtI am absolutely over the moon with my results and honestly cannot recommend Dr. Mahajan highly enough. From the initial consultation through to the surgery day and follow-up appointments, his care has been exceptional. But beyond his wonderful bedside manner, the actual surgical work is incredible.If you're considering this procedure and researching surgeons in the Leeds area, I would wholeheartedly recommend booking a consultation with Dr. Mahajan at Evolve Medical.
