In 1999 he was appointed Consultant Plastic Surgeon and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Plastic Surgery at St James's University Hospital, Leeds which is one of the largest microsurgical units in the world. Following his work in the humanitarian field of earthquake surgery, he was appointed Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Manchester University Medical School. After 16 years in the UK National Health Service, he moved into independent practice.

Rhinoplasty

My friend and I came to see Mr Waseem Saeed in London. He was extremely professional, courteous and considerate. I wish I had gone to him for my primary rhinoplasty because I wouldn’t have gotten botched. Mr Saeed took the time to study my friend’s operative report unlike another well-known surgeon on Harley Street who charges over £11k for a rhinoplasty and who can’t be bothered to study operative reports. This particular Harley street surgeon actually botched me! I hope Mr Saeed can fix my nose. I recommend you see Mr Saeed. I don’t think you can find a kinder and more professional surgeon. It is obvious he has not chosen a career in plastic surgery purely for money. He does a lot of charity and humanitarian work which I did not know previously. I was so impressed with Mr Saeed that I will be scheduling a consultation to see him myself!
