I had an amazing experience with the Apera clinic from the first message I sent right through to the surgery and aftercare. Everyone from the translators, doctors and nurses went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable throughout. I am so thankful for the entire staff for making this daunting process as painless as possible. The doctors, nurses and translators visited everyday throughout my stay to ensure I was ok. They left no room for error and would carry out tests at the slightest onset of pain. Thank you so much Apera clinic and team!

I came to this clinic to have a gastric sleeve. I did my research before booking this treatment and felt that Apera was the best place to go, not only from reviews I have read but from people I personally know who have had the same treatment here at Apera.From start to finish, I have been very happy with the treatment and care I received. This whole process has been explained clearly and there have been no issues with the language barrier what so ever. Anything I needed was catered for with minimal fuss. Every staff member that I spoke to were so helpful and kind and I couldn't have wished for anything else. I would not hesitate to recommend Apera to friends and family as the care I received could not have been better 😊

Hello from the UK, first I should say I'm so thankful to Apera clinic. I've been through a lot recently all these quarantines and lockdowns caused me depression and I started to eat a lot. I was never satisfied with my body in my life and it starts to be even worst since last year so this time I decided to be brave and go through this change. I was so nervous that I didn't have any companion but thanks to Apera team they were with me from the very beginning to last minute. Hospital was so clean and first class, friendly nurses and team and best after operation support service. They do not advertise enough of their service but trust me I had the best hospital experience and hotel was very clean and nice so happy that I made the right choice. It's been 2 months and I already lost 16 kg. Thank you Apera

I went to Turkey last May 2022. Apera looked after everything ie Pick up from Airport, Put up in a Hotel and Treatment in Hospital. The staff, nurses and Surgeons were brilliant. I had a Gastric Sleeve done and now I'm lighter in weight by 9.5stone on 21/02/2023.

Flew to Istanbul, was picked up and taken to a hotel, nice hotel clean and stylish. Next day was taken to the hospital which looks like a 5 star hotel, everyone was so welcoming and the room was gorgeous. No English TV channels but I had anticipated this and downloaded films, took plenty if reading material too. Had all my health checks and before I knew it was being prepared for surgery. Next thing I know I was waking up, I wasn't really with it I felt really sick and was scared to be waking up in another country and unfamiliar surroundings. Wasn't long before I was back in my room and my companion was waiting for me. The next couple days was a blur, and then I was back with it. Happy that my companion had been well fed ( 3 meals a day Turkish food). The hardest but was not being able to have any water until day after the surgery. I didn't really feel much pain but I was uncomfortable more trapped wind in my chest area. The care was second to none and I am so glad I started my journey with them. Even with the language barrier we still had a giggle with the nurses and the doctor. The surgeon was amazing he would come first thing in the morning to do his check ups with everyone and he was there into the evenings at times too. I just can't complain about anything! Everything was just absolutely outstanding and the aftercare has been too. Thank you woth all my heart Apera health group you have changed my life in so many ways.

I’ve traveled from the UK to Turkey for gastric sleeve surgery. I was on my own and very nervous but from the very beginning everyone was so friendly and understanding I managed to relax and really felt safe. The whole team is amazing! In the hospital I was very well looked after and cannot be more grateful to the doctor and all the nurses that were checking on me the whole time, my recovery was so quick I couldn’t believe it, the next day after surgery I was walking around. I had a translator, a hotel stay and a driver, and all that for no extra cost - it was all included. I highly recommend APERA Clinic, even after I went back to the UK - whenever I have any questions they replied within an hour, I got a nutritionist that I keep in touch with me and a package of shakes, and everything I need to start my journey.
