Gastric Sleeve

I had gastric sleeve with Dr. Osman Uyar this week. Melih, my translator and representative picked me up at the airport personally. He took great care of me throughout the week and made sure I was always receiving what I needed and was comfortable. My surgery was well explained and went without issue.Aftercare was 24/7. Nurses don't speak much English but are well trained and very friendly. Google translate made communication easy.My private suite was spacious, two rooms, with own bathroom/toilet. I always had privacy. It was cleaned everyday as well, including bedding changes.Upon returning home, I received everything needed for my post op liquid diet as well as vitamins and some medications. In the beginning I was very nervous about traveling alone from the Netherlands for surgery but Mel, and the staff of Grandmedical put me at ease. Very happy with my decision and recommend to any looking into medical tourism for WLS.

We are happy to have another Gastric Sleeve Surgery perfectly. We keep following our patient after surgery and recovery process. Have a slimmer and healthier life Krista.

Gastric Sleeve

I had a gastric sleeve with Dr Osman Uyar in October 2021. I would highly recommend Grand Medical Manisa and especially Dr Osman. He was very professional and the care I received was excellent. All of the staff were very kind and considerate and were very helpful. The cost was very reasonable for the level of service provided. The hospital was spotlessly clean. The testing performed prior to surgery is very thorough. Mel my translator provided by the hospital was fantastic always available and explained everything clearly. The clinic is approximately 1-hour drive from Izmir and is very comfortable. I would definitely return, my experience was very positive and I would highly recommend Dr Osman and Grand Medical Manisa.

It was a pleasure to serve you at Grandmedical Hospital Sarah. You know I was beside you in each step. So we became a friend more than an interpreter. I wish you happiness for your whole life.

Gastric Sleeve

I had Gastric Sleeve surgery last year in June. The price I paid was very good compared with other hospitals. The reason I choose this clinic was that traveling alone from Romania I was scared to stay alone in a hotel after the surgery, so this hospital was the only one I found that kept me in the hospital 3 days after the surgery.The experience is was good, I was treated excellently and Melih was there to support me all the time with whatever I needed. If I would need to make some recommendations these will be: Nutritionists advise after the surgery who can be in touch with the patient for at least 6 months. Would be nice if you can organize small trips to see the city after the surgery. For some of us will the only time when we can visit Turkey. Also, it can keep the morale up after the surgery.

Cardiologist Consultation

It is grace amazing when I met with hospital directors Mr Mel and doctor Osman Uyar with great hospitality and caring is super. I can't compare with any hospital. The doctors are always checking on us time to time to make sure everything is in good shape including nurses, both are well trained.

Suprarenal Adrenaloctomy is one of the most prestigious surgery in the world. Dr. Osman Uyar really made a perfect job. We wish happy and healthy life for Mujeeb. We keep welcoming our guests and show our hospitality. Thank you so much İbrahim for your great interest.

Gastric Sleeve

I had a gastric sleeve with Dr Osman at Grand Medical in October 2021. I have lost 55kg to date and can honestly say this surgery changed my life. I received fantastic care from Dr Osman and from each & everyone of the medical staff. I had 24 hour attention, the care provided by the nursing staff and the administration staff was second to none. The hospital is immaculately clean and the staff are professional caring and excellent at their job. A very special mention must go to my translator Mel who was with me all the time and was exceptional! The hospital is approximately 1 hour from Izmir airport but don';t let that put you off in any way. The cost of the treatment was very reasonable and every query was dealt with efficiently and in detail. The after care has been fantastic I still receive messages inquiring about my progress and both Dr Osman and Mel are always on hand for any questions I might have. The surgery itself was relatively pain free I had no issues post-surgery and I really can't say enough good things about the gastric sleeve surgery. My scars are very small and healed very quickly. I would definitely recommend the surgery for weight loss and I would highly recommend Dr Osman Uyar and all of the staff at Grand Medical Manisa. Thank you again!!

Bariatric Surgery Consultation

I went to grand medical in March 2024 for a gastric sleeve, I had the most pleasant experience from start to finish. My personal assistant Mel he is also doctors assistant was absolutely fantastic, he picked me up from the airport and drove me to the hospital, translated all questions and also took me shopping when I was back on my feet. Dr Osman was great, a very skilful surgeon and checked in with me everyday. The nurses was great, translated through google translate and delivered high care whilst on the ward. Everyone was very friendly and always attended to you needs. I’m so glad I chose grandmedical, I lost half a stone in the first week, and would definitely recommend grand medical hospital.

I came to this hospital and was met at the airport by Mel who was my English speaking guide through the procedure which was very helpful and put me at ease. Dr Osman was very nice and professional, and the nurses took great care of me and were lovely. I had a lovely clean spacious private suite. The surgery went very well and I would definitely recommend that you come here for your treatment.

Another succesful Gastric Sleeve and another great change in our patien's life. We keep adding slimmer people into society.

I was recommended this hospital and surgeon from a friend. I had the bypass it was amazing from start to finish. I feel great and had no problems at all. Melih the translator is amazing and helps so so much nothing is to much trouble for him deffo 5 stars from me. Dr Osman was so good answered all my questions and was amazing no complaints from me.

Bariatric Surgery Consultation

From start to finish, I cannot express how fantastic my experience was. From my first bit of contact with Mel, through to my post-op care. Mel was always very quick to reply to my messages and answer any questions I had before travelling to Turkey from the UK. From the moment I arrived at the hospital, all of the staff were lovely. All of my pre-op tests were nice and quick. And I had my operation within 12 hours of arriving. My surgeon was fantastic. Always explained everything thoroughly. Checked on me a couple of times a day after my operation. The nurses and cleaners were always on top of everything. And the nurses on night shift were great. A few times I had some nausea and they were there straight away giving me anti-sickness medication. I don't have a single bad word to say about my whole experience. Would highly reccomend.
