In 1997 Lokman Hekim Esnaf Hospital, which is located in Fethiye on the Mediterranean Coast of South West Turkey, began as a small Polyclinic created as a partnership between the Chamber of Artists and Artisans, the Chamber of Drivers and Automobiles and Lokman Hekim Inc. We have continued to provide services from our new premises since 2012.

On an area of 9000m2 our complex provides international service with highly trained and experienced staff combined with advanced medical technology. We offer a wide range of treatments from surgery to rehabilitation, from dermatology to psychiatry. Within the hospital there are 50 Consultants offering treatments within 22 areas of medicine. We have 6 beds in our general intensive care unit, 4 beds in our coronary intensive care unit, 5 beds in our neonatal intensive care unit and 93 patient beds giving a total bed capacity of 108.

Besides our highly trained Consultants we have roughly 420 front line nurses and medical staff. You will find patients from across Turkey and abroad who come for diagnosis and treatment. The staff of the Foreign Patient Department helps both inpatients and outpatients in any way needed including translating for doctors and nurses, especially at twice-daily ward rounds, and liaising with foreign insurance companies wherever policies allow a direct claim from the hospital. The staff of the department is provided by the hospital expressly to assist any non-Turkish patients whether they are on holiday or living locally. English, Russian, German, French, Dutch and Romanian are spoken. The department provides a full team and a 24 hour service.

Due to the architectural structure of our building, commitment to patient care and out continued performance we were accredited with the international TUVCERT ISO certificate.

Our specialist surgeons perform a full range of standard surgeries and diagnostics including endoscopy, laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery and bariatric (obesity) surgery. Our Bariatric clinic combines several different areas of medicine such as Dietician and Psychiatry. Patients can come directly to our Diet Polyclinic or can be referred by other branches. Our Specialist will establish your nutritional history, evaluate lab results, perform anthropometric measurements and a body analysis (measuring a patient’s body fat, fluid, muscle etc.) A personalized nutrition program is prepared and followed up with the patients. In our policlinic we provide nutritional support for conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, kidney diseases and malnutrition for all ages from infants until adulthood.

Our esteemed Plastic Surgeon is not just successful with his cosmetic patients; reconstructive surgery is also a large part of his duties. We provide even the most basic of procedures such as injections and other non invasive cosmetic techniques, all the way up to larger plastic surgeries, tissue transplants and microsurgery.
