The case selection is very important in planning and choosing these implants as they have specific indication clinically. Also the type of implant can be decided only after checking the X-ray or preferably 3D scan for the bone volume.

The implants from Nobel Biocare, Sweden, Alphadent, AlphaBio and also Straumann all are US FDA approved, and they come in different diameters with lifetime warranty. Nobel Biocare implants are considered to be the best implants in the world and are preferred all over.

Single piece implants have very thin diameter and they are preferred only in thin bone cases where placing the regular implant is not possible.

The other implants have good diameter and we prefer to place them if the bone volume is good as they can provide the better retention/support, stability to the fixed teeth.

The only advantage of single or one piece implant is that in reducing the cost of the abutment because it is manufactured in one piece. Hence it is cheaper when compared to a two piece implants. To start with it looks very cheap (low cost), but post placement complications will cost you more and also may leave you edentulous (toothless) lifelong.
