Dr. Conor and Dr. Cormac Shields are third generation dentists who operate this clinic near Limerick. Treatment from dental cleaning to advanced surgery is performed at the clinic. Private patients and PRSI patients are welcome. Three different forms of anaesthesia are administered for the comfort of the patient. Cosmetic dentistry and implant therapy are the specialties of the clinic. A smile simulation is created on a computer to give the patient a picture of the final result. The clinic offers flexible time schedules and house visits are organized for old and infirm patients.

Dentist and dental nurse were excellent , very professional and reassuring ! Reception staff left a lot to be desired , very rude and unfriendly both on the phone and in person !! It’s a shame as the clinic is lovely and clean , just the reception staff could do with learning how to be a bit more professional . I left the clinic very irritated and upset by the encounter with the receptionist

As an extremely nervous patient, I found all the staff reassuring and sympathetic. Had quite a lot of work done, all pain-free, may I add. I have recommended Shields to many since, and personally wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

Greeted by friendly receptionists. The waiting area was immaculate and SO comfortable and I was even given a proper coffee. I saw the hygienist this time and she was incredibly helpful, the whole time was totally pain free. She also explained the process step by step. Highly recommended as I have struggled for years to find a good dentist/hygienist in Limerick, so glad I found this one.

I rung up this morning to try and get an appointment my dentist, unfortunately, he was on holiday so they were able to fit me in with Dr Raz. He was amazing. I had an extraction and the tooth fractured but he put me at ease all the way through. I never felt a thing. His care was second to none.

I just wanted to thank to Dr Chris for his excellent work on my very complicated set of teeth. I had a denture very wavy and uneven made somewhere else before and I could never use it, giving me trouble eating and chewing anything. I was very upset because if it when I finally found Shields Dental Clinic accidentally online. Dr Chris offered me to refurbish this existing but not working denture. He went up and down, sacrificed his own time to make sure that it will be perfect for me. He actually made gold from nothing and now it fits so well that I keep forgetting that it is not my own. I am so happy I found this clinic and I would not change it for any other ones. All staff members are very kind and professional and I know that I am in the best hands. Million thanks for Dr Chris and the team. Elizabeth.

I went to Shields dental as I had a cracked dental bridge I was extremely nervous that there was damage done to my teeth underneath. Cormac was so professional and made me feel confident that it would be ok. I came away with a temporary bridge and had a replacement fitted 2 weeks later. Cormac is skilled and professional and can highly recommend the practice.

I got a root canal done today at the Limerick clinic, and the professionalism was evident from the moment I walked in the door. I was very nervous, but Fida provided reassurance and comfort the entire time. The whole experience was completely painless. Fida, the orthodontist, communicated with me throughout the procedure. I now feel great, with no pain at all, after suffering from a very painful tooth. The experience was brilliant, and the service was 100% efficient!

I've been visiting Shields Dental for the last number of years for various dental procedures, mostly routine. Their service is always punctual, friendly, and reasonably priced. I find it helpful that I am given a clear picture of what treatment will be given & the likely outcome. A few weeks ago I had a toothache, phoned early that morning & was seen that afternoon, problem solved! Thank you to all at Shields.
