Wisdom Teeth Extraction/Surgery I highly recommend anyone who wishes to get his/her dental checkup or treatment/surgery done at this Buena Vista branch. The place has a peaceful climate and the moment I walked in, I was greeted politely by the amiable receptionist there. She's helpful too. Dental surgeon was very thorough with her assessment and explanation on my dental treatment procedures. She'd patiently provided me with not only answers to my queries but also cleared and reassured me with my doubts. She's an amazing one. Her nurse was kind, patient and amiable too. Sitting on the dental chair there did not make me any anxious. The interior walls in the room, flat screen tv, wonderful nurse and experienced dentist would definitely make anyone's experience there an enjoyable one! I had my initial consultation to have presurgical assesment. I met the chief dentist, Dr James Ho who was very friendly and informative. He explained me very clear and assesed thoroughly tru my panoramic X Ray which I brought from another lab and the cbct scan that I had on site. The clinic itself is small but I might say compact. I then decided to have an oral surgery for my wisdom teeth extraction with him and the staff asked me to pay for the deposit. Staffs are friendly as well. On the surgery day, Dr James Ho was very gentle to do the surgical extractions. However, due to the difficult case of my wisdom teeth, it took longer than the expected time. He was attempting to make me calm because he knew that I was a bit trauma with surgical extraction as I been having another surgical extraction with another surgeon and it caused me to suffer parasthesia or numbness around my tongue. He was very careful to do the extraction and let me ask him whether I needed some breaks or not. He did another cbct scan as well during the procedure as mine was quite difficult. Fyi, i have very strong jawbone and teeth. Finally, it was succed. I was happy with the extraction as I could feel my chin, lips and my tongue (the tongue area which is not affected by prior surgery) when the anesthesia started to wear off. Well, maybe for you who are a dental phobia, I suggest you to have the surgical extraction under general anesthesia as the surgery is a bit uncomfortable moreover for the pressures feeling you may have during the procedure. I had mine taken out under local anesthesia. It was a bit painful as I had many pressures but the anesthesia he gave me worked well to block the pain sensation. I, prefer to follow his instruction to have the surgery under local anesthesia and the staff itself said that general anesthesia is expensive. I find that this clinic is professional and not money oriented. Secondly, they offered me to have bone graft during the initial consultation but when it's done the doctor said mine did not need it as he saw my jawbone was very good and he did the surgery not that much invansive. So I saved some money. I do not say that this clinic is very cheap as the pricelist almost the same like other clinics within Central Singapore but still pretty affordable and will give you best option to give you best services with right price. If you want to have general anesthesia by paying more, no worries, this clinic is also have an affiliation with Novena Surgery Clinic. However, after I had the surgery under local anesthesia, I felt like the pain itself was bearable and I did not get shocked with the transition feelings after got numb by the anesthesia then it started to wear off. Imagine that you have it under GA and you awoke with sore feelings and unpleasant gastric with dizzines. It might worsen your mood. Doctor is professional too. Dr James Ho cleaned my teeth before performing the extractions. He also cleaned my mouth after the procedure to minimise the risk. You may not have the fancy view like what other clinics in Orchard to offer, but skillful hands are better for consideration. It does matter for me. It depends on you whether you want to have an experienced surgeon or dentist or a fancy clinic inside mall. Maybe you can find other specialists too but Dr James Ho proved me to save my nerves and finished his job pretty good eventhought he knew that in my case, it might be quite difficult. I read that some reviews quoted him as a well-rounded person. I admit it. I think he is a very well-known in orthodontics like invisalign and bone grafting but he can handle any area of dentistry. I recommend you guys to have consultation with him as he is very smart and understanding. He proves me that he has the quality as a Harvard educated professional. Place in Buona Vista. Not that fancy place and not that near from MRT but quite good as a good dental clinic. Very compact. Staffs are nice and quite friendly. They are seemingly have good bonding with the doctors. It does not offer you fancy rooms as well but not outdated. I guess this is the newer place as they opened their old clinic in East Jurong. read more

My usual dental experiences always involved some pain due to sensitivity in my teeth. I tried out Greenlife Dental Clinic for a regular dental checkup and was impressed that there was no pain involved during the entire checkup. Dr. Michelle was very careful and gentle when cleaning my teeth. She is a very experienced dentist and could pinpoint the causes of the sensitivity in my teeth. She recommended a toothpaste and toothbrush that is suitable for me. Since then, the sensitivity in my teeth has been reduced. I have been going back to Greenlife Dental Clinic for my regular dental checkup and will definitely recommend Dr. Michelle/ Greenlife Dental Clinic to my family and friends! read more
