Dental Concepts is a family dental practice based in Whitchurch, Hampshire owned by dentist couple, Dr Manish & Dr Shilpa Chitnis.

They provide both NHS and private treatments at the practice and believe in providing excellent care, long term cure and premium comfort to their esteemed patients. Although the prime focus is on dental treatments, every patient is cared for as an individual making them at ease, the moment they step in the practice.

They have a state of the art dental practice with 4 treatment rooms and the latest in dental technology to offer including, dental lasers, microscope dentistry and the 3 dimensional CT scanning facility.

Focus is also on providing pain free dentistry for nervous patients using computerised local anaesthetia to ease out the fear of needles.

Treatments provided include cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, smile makeovers, invisible clear and hidden braces, veneers, teeth whitening, dental hygiene treatments, crowns & bridges, repairing broken teeth, gum disease specialist treatments, children's dentistry, root canal treatments, etc all provided under one roof. Dentist Consultation

Dental Concept is a most wonderful Dentist to go to.I go to Shilpa who has been absolutely marvellous, so gentle and kind and who tells you exactly what treatment you are about to have - a step by step guide. All the Staff are marvellous and who all make you feel so relaxed from the moment you step into he clinic and all the way through gently supporting you. I cannot speak more highly of Shilpa for She is fantastic and so very knowledgeable in Dentistry.. The Patients are so very lucky to have this marvellous Dentist.

Adult Braces

I have been with Dental Concepts for a few years now as it became clear the number of NHS Dentists in Andover was dwindling. Yesterday I had a check-up but also needed a re-coat (not sure if that is the correct Orthodontic term!) on one of my teeth. I was seen by Dr Afra Shaj. I'm well retired and have to admit to being terrified of Dentists as my experiences of them go back many decades. But Dr Afra was brilliant. So thoughtful and gentle, and she explained every procedure she was going through. No need for an injection. I'm not saying I'm looking forward to the next Appointment but what I can say is that I will not need to be dragged in next time!

Braces

Before I chose this dentist, I’d been to another one who told me they couldn’t do the braces. The nearest other clinic to me, was Dental Concepts. The price I paid here was more than what I’d been quoted by the other dentist. I don’t think anyone’s ever really happy with what they pay for a treatment like this. I had the braces done in December, but they ran a promotion in January (that included a teeth whitening treatment and retainer). When I asked them about this, they told me I would have needed to book through another company to qualify for this deal. I wish they’d informed me of this special before I paid the full price. This was the only thing that really counted as a negative. I thought the facilities were nice and clean - they made a good first impression. The dentist had really great bedside manner: she was friendly and provided detailed explanations. I felt like she listened and understood me. I’m still going for follow-ups now. I’ll have to give them a 5/5. They’re very good!

What can I say but dental concepts are amazing friendly. helpful and always there to help and advise if you are concerned. Need help the treatment I am having is great they make sure you get the best value for money and care. so yes I would definitely give it a 5-star rating.

Root Canals

I have recently had an extraction at another dentist and the root still left in and I contacted concepts dental practice for help. They were very helpful and I was given an appointment for the next day where I had an x-ray and an appointment for the following week for extraction. I am delighted to say it was very successful, and I have to say Shilpa was absolutely wonderful in her treatment and courtesy to me. I cannot recommend concepts enough to anyone seeking dental treatment.

Dental Crowns

I have just had two chipped teeth repaired and a crown fitted to a molar. All within the last 3 weeks. Pricing is similar to most private dentist in the area, but the professionalism and modern clinic exceeded my expectations. I have just joined this new practice in Andover and had a great overall experience. Manish and the staff are a very friendly and professional team. Highly recommended on all levels. Brand new, purpose built clinic, with very high standards. Highly recommended.
