The Redland Road Dental Practice was established over fifty years ago by just one dentist.

In 2010 we now have seven dentists, four hygienists and many more support staff.

Our dentists have been with us for many years, and we pride ourselves on our ability to provide a welcoming and comfortable visit for all.

The size of the practice means that we are able provide a broad range of dental care for all patients, young and old, dentally fit, and dentally neglected.

From routine preventative care to complex cosmetic crown and bridgework, implants, wisdom teeth extraction, sedation and whitening- all treatments available at Redland Road.

Extremely frustrating

Surgical Extractions

n/a I had been experiencing severe tooth pain from an impacted wisdom tooth for several days. My NHS dentist, who I had seen already that week, had told me that a referral to the dental hospital could take up to a month. Since then the pain had become unbearable and after several sleepless nights I decided to go for a private dentist. I searched for emergency tooth extractions and found Reldand Dental. I called the clinic at 9am to make an emergency appointment to have my tooth removed, informing the lady on the other end what the problem was. I was told a complex extraction would cost £95, which although costlier than on the NHS was something I was prepared for. I was asked to pay a £34 cost over the phone which I was told this would secure my appointment. At the clinic itself I waited 15 minutes before I was seen. I told the dentist my situation. She then preceded to take an x-ray of my mouth. After looking at the x-ray she told me that I was suffering from an impacted wisdom tooth (which I knew!) and she could do an extraction on Monday and it would be £200. I found this extremely frustrating, having been told a figure HALF the price over the phone and also having been informed I could expect the extraction that day!! Since I had taken the afternoon off work I found this to be a real difficulty and the lack of communication had been so costly to me. I was then given a £10 fee for the X-Ray! I couldn't believe it, £44 for essentially nothing. I will be lodging a formal complaint.

This is a rare, but unfortunate, event and the practice deeply regrets this patient's experience with us. We have, however, spoken to the patient at length since and, along with advice about her next step, have given a full refund.

New Patient Dental Examination

Recently attended Dr Nair Milner at Redland Dental. She was calm, gentle, explained my treatment thoroughly and helped me feel relaxed and confident that I was going to be looked after very well. Support staff, in particular her nurse, were very friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend this practice!

Dental Crowns

After having just moved to the area for the start of a new job in two days you can imagine my horror when my crown at the front came off! I contacted Redland Dental practice as it was near to my new home. I spoke to a very helpful lady on the reception who explained procedures and quoted me prices and very helpfully booked me in for treatment the next morning.When I arrived I was greeted by friendly staff and shown into a lovely waiting room. After just a few minutes wait I was seen by a welcoming lady dentist who not only fixed my crown there and then but also spent the time to find out a little about me and what I was looking for in a dentist.The price I paid for this emergency treatment I found very fair. I have since then been back for a full checkup and have decided to make this my regular practice. I think choosing a dentist can be a little daunting especially if like me you have been used to the same practice for some years. My husband has now booked in for a check up, he is quite a nervous patient, but has been assured from my experience that he will be looked after.

Invisalign™

I have attended Redland Rd Dental Practice for years and I have always received excellent treatment. The staff are all very professional. The reception staff is always polite, friendly and very helpful. The hygienists are always really good and thorough.My most recent treatment was with Mrs Nair Davies. Big thanks to her and her lovely assistants for my lovely 'Invisalign' smile. If you are looking to find a Dentist I would definitely recommend my Dentists' Practice.
