Ivf egg donor and icsi We recently had treatment but we don't yet know the result however we found it a very well planned and relaxed stay,I think it the first time I haven't felt anxious.All the staff at the clinic were friendly and all who work for Praga Medica are friendly and helpful so we would go back again but hopefully this will work .The appartments very good choice to andel appartments very clean and central to everywhere

Egg Donation

My husband and I just celebrated our 7th anniversary this year — I mean REALLY celebrating, because this year our dreams came true with the help of Praga Medica. Last year, we had pretty much given up on our hopes for a child of our own. We heard about Praga Medica and made a telephone appointment with Dr. Alexander via coordinator Zdenek. The course of action that he recommended for our situation was IVF with an egg donor. Upon making the decision to go forward, Zdenek immediately began providing us with all of the information that we needed to begin our journey. It was overwhelming at first, but Zdenek was there every time to answer all of our questions and help us prepare for the procedure. I looked forward to my visits, knowing that Praga Medica had a true understanding of what I was going through. From my husband and me, we can never express enough gratitude to Dr. Alexander, Zdenek and the entire staff at Praga Medical for what they have done for us. These people really do help people to make their dreams come true! Our lives have been changed by the realization of our new family, and we could never have done it without them. Our deepest and most heartfelt thanks and appreciation goes out to you! On May 26th we were blessed with becoming parents to two little baby boys. At week 34, we had no major complications with birth. Our two little "angels" are home now. We are looking forward to challenges of parenthood with smiles on our faces.

After my 2 attempt of IVF Praha medica were absolutely fantastic. I felt relaxed and was treated completed as an individual. I felt special, I was offered more and different types of treatment to help and give me more of a chance. Jana and all the doctors and staff was always welcoming and the clinic is a warm relaxed environment. I was kept informed along the way at all steps and the treatment and accommodation was all organised so we had nothing to worry about.

FET - Frozen Embryo Transfer

From initial contact with the clinic to the completion of treatment and transport back to the airport, Praga Medica have surpassed our expectations. Our co-ordinator, Blanka, was a wonderful support and provided valuable assistance before, during and after our stay. She organised suitable accommodation, transport package (which really is a must!), and liaison with the clinic medical team. This is our first frozen embryo transfer, having had a fresh cycle last year which was successful but sadly ended in an early loss. The FET could not have been easier. Dr Alexander was a marvel and it was the quickest and smoothest transfer I have ever had. We now anxiously await the results of our pregnancy test. If you are thinking of travelling abroad for ivf treatment please be assured that you are in excellent hands with Praga Medica - I cannot recommend them enough.

IVF with Donor Eggs

We first contacted PRAGA Medica in January 2015. It is now December, and I am eight weeks pregnant. I am forty-five years old with a three-year-old from a natural pregnancy. After losing a baby in 2014 due to a chromosomal disorder, my periods became irregular, and blood tests followed by a scan diagnosed an early menopause. Egg donation was our only option to add to our family. We were recommended a clinic in Barcelona by my consultant gynaecologist for the high success rate. We looked into this clinic and did our own research of others. Gest IVF promoted by PRAGA Medica stood out for us mainly because of the reviews, but also for the price being more affordable than the Barcelona clinic. There were a number of reviews at the Barcelona Clinic that told of feeling it was more about the money for the clinic. We contacted both clinics at the same time. Jana from PRAGA Medica responded promptly and telephoned at a conveniently arranged time for us. The Barcelona clinic kept ringing in the morning when we had chosen the afternoon option (due to work commitments), meaning their first couple of calls were missed. Meanwhile, Jana had sent through more useful information and her professional, efficient, extremely likeable manner meant that we didn't pursue the Barcelona Clinic further. The process through PRAGA Medica was so straight forward. Jana helped us every step of the way. After our initial consultation with Dr. Alexander, we chose the Maxima option with the TOP package and assisted hatching on one of the two embryos agreed to be implanted. Medication was organised and brought from the clinic for the duration of each treatment. We had our first fresh embryo transfer in June, followed by a frozen embryo transfer in August. Some are lucky enough to fall pregnant on their first transfer. The clinic's stats show that there is a good chance of this, and it is good to have a positive attitude, but be prepared (easier said than done) for a negative result. My second fresh embryo transfer in November, performed by Dr. Monika Polakova, was successful. I sadly miscarried one of the embryos at six weeks, but amazingly, a scan the next day showed I still had one embryo growing. It's early days, but all going well. We will have a sibling for our little girl in August 2016. Our experience with PRAGA Medica and Gest IVF has all been positive, and we would highly recommend them to others looking for similar treatment. The clinic was clean and efficiently run, the doctors knowledgeable and professional, and Jana was the perfect person you need to coordinate everything for you, from accommodation and transfers (a great guy called Jan did most of our journeys), to interpreting and generally anything you have questions about. If she doesn't know, she will find out for you, and always with a smile. We found Prague itself to be an enchanting city, the transport system is so easy to use, the people are friendly, and we felt safe at all times. We took our daughter with us on two occasions; she especially loved the many play parks, Prague Zoo, and the outdoor swimming pool at the 'beach' in the summer. Caroline and Mike, England. FET - Frozen Embryo Transfer

My wife and I contacted GEST Praga Medica centre, for egg donation. Due to our age group over 40, we had been thrown on the scrap heap by our own health service in our home country who wanted nothing to do with us. So after this emotional attack, we had to seek out professional fertility advice from a clinic who didnt judge us by our age group, or, see us as cash cows. The whole process is an emotional one but Praga Medica put us at ease and reassured us throughout the process. After our 1st visit, assessment and tests, we left feeling positive and confident in the clinic and their expertise. This is an emotional experience for any couple, but the team at Praga Medica centre made us relaxed and optimistic for the procedure. From 1st contact to receiving the embryo took just 3 months and the price was very good for the whole treatment. We chose this clinic because of the initial contact with them was fast and the information clear and accurate. We read other reviews and felt positive and also from Jana`s response to our telephone calls and emails. We organised our own hotel and the clinic organised our taxi from the hotel to the clinic for the initial consultation. On our return trips to Praha we orgainsed our own flights and hotels and taxi, which was easy enough. Jana put us at ease and her communications always fast accurate and very informative. We never felt under any pressure from Jana or the clinic, and never ever given any hard sell. My wife has become pregnant from the embryo transfer on our 1st attempt and we hope things will progress successfully but it is early days yet. We will have our 1st scan in a few weeks time. We are so grateful to Jana, Dr Monica the embryologist, and the whole team for their honesty, positivity and skills.

IVF with Donor Eggs

We viewed around 10 clinics in 4 countries before settling on GEST, it was a mix of location, IVF procedure options and communication, it was the latter which tipped the balance in the end. From the very beginning Praga Medica were great in facilitating the whole process, our coordinator Jana was prompt friendly and reassuring, it was our first time to do IVF so this was hugely important to us. Our doctor was Daniel Alexander and I was so happy to be able to mail him directly as we went along. He and his team were highly professional and accessible. the clinic itself is small but highly equipt and was able to offer services the same if not better than most others. My only small grumble was despite asking repeatedly we did not know anything about our donor until I arrived for the embryo transfer, we opted for exclusive as we had some specific requirements, they were partially fulfilled. We don't know if we are successful but would definitely recommend GEST, and in case we are not we will go back for a second try.

Embryo Donation

I had my donor embryo treatment in Praga Medica few days ago, I will certainly update my result in the very near future, the main reason I post my story here is to help the others to make a choice in infertility treatment, because choosing a clinic is part of the story and is very time consuming, like everyone at the same boat I think, I spent lots of time to do the web browsing and personal consult beforehand, long story in short, anyway, Praga medica , Jana is the first person contact me, everything we went through since then met my expectation and I just felt very positive the whole time regarding the treatment, the whole team from the Guest clinic work with efficiency from the first contact to embryo transfer, just took 2 months. Regarding the choice of donor, I left it to doctor Daniel and the embryologist,because mutual trust is very important, well, at least to me,this trust lighten my emotional burden, and the moment the embryologist handed me the information of the donors, I know that I can not ask for better, when she showed me the picture of two most beautiful embryos, I just felt in love with them instantly which proved that I am at the safe hands. I am still in 2ww wait, however, I feel super positive, these few days I certainly fell some difference in my body, not sure if it has anything to do with the early pregnancy or just because I am about to have my natural cycle. Again, I would say the whole team of the clinic is superb, I never had any stress and I felt that they are really professional and I can not expect more from them, thank you. The clinic is in a nice residential area and I fell very relax in it. My friend was with me at the clinic and witnessed the embryo transfer. and she said the experience widen her eyes and said the medical team seems excellent at what they are doing, she will recommend the clinic to her friend who is seeking for ivf treatment.
