IVF - In Vitro Fertilisation. Excellent service. Staffs are very friendly and professional. The main reason why I chose this clinic is that I got a very quick response from them compared to the other clinics. The clinic is also well situated; it is located next to a good hotel and next to a big shopping mall. It is thus ideal for foreigners who do not know the place well.

Hormone Treatment

I did a female hormone test. The price of the test quite similar with other specialist centre around MYR175 and simple consultation MYR80, registration MYR5.3 (with GST). The reason I went for this test is to ensure I don't have PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome). The report result is showing normal. No further consultation given. My husband bought a package with Sunway Wellness Centre. Thus, this is not the first time I visit Sunway medical centre. However, this is the first time I visited Dr. Kanappan, and I'm still spending some 'extra time' here and there to find the right place. Initially, I need to register on the second floor. This is what I've been told during the appointment call. Thereafter, I'm being referred to a fertility centre but, after I explained why I was there, they asked me to look for Dr. Kanappan's clinic. When I follow the instruction and still cannot get to the place, I had to ask around again. It had to wait for some time, even though I had made the appointment, because of 'waiting for the files to be transferred from the downstairs department'. After a simple doctor consultation, I have to go to the level one lab to do the test, but not at the doctor's clinic (I lost my way and asked for help from the staff again). The person in charge of the lab told me to wait for another two hours and await the result at the clinic (second floor). About one and half hours later, I'm back to the clinic. The nurse told me the doctor has gone back and they finished work. She mentioned that she had ask me to come with my husband next time (this part I had a bit confused, maybe I am not clear of her instruction earlier). End up waiting for hours, no report getting on the day. Next day, I had made a call to the clinic before collecting the report (to ensure no more waiting).

Fertility Test

My wife and I went to this clinic for a fertility test. The place looked great and they’ve got a nice location, too. They operate on a first come first serve basis, so we had to wait 45 minutes to see the doctor. Staff took good care of us, though. The doctor was friendly and the nurses were very kind. We received satisfactory treatment for the price we paid. It was a relatively pain-free process for my wife. Whenever I had a question, the doctor was ready to assist. The only negative is that we had to register every time we visited, this was a bit frustrating. I think there should be a once-off registration process.

Fertility Specialist Consultation

SunMed’s price for fertility treatment was reasonable. I’d been to another facility before deciding on this one, so I knew I was getting value for my money. I’ve only had one appointment with them, but the service was excellent. The staff were great - such kind people who really explained all my options to me and provided details about the available treatments. I felt very well-informed and prepared before we went through with anything. Patients who visit this clinic will experience a helpful, friendly doctor.
