Staff & general: I couldn't recommend Cork Laser Care more highly. The staff are simply fantastic and so friendly. The treatments are absolutely fabulous- no pain AT ALL and amazing results. So far, I have had my upper lip, chin, underarm and legs treated and ,wow, I am happy I left waxing behind me. No more ingrown hairs, waiting for regrowth or damaged skin. Their location is brilliant. Very central in Cork city and in a beautiful old building on the banks of the Lee. Their treatment rooms are private (you buzz in) and are very spacious and lavishly decorated. Cost wise, treatments & value for money: When you compare the long term costs of waxing versus laser it is WELL worth it. Everyone's hair (growth speed, thickness, pigment etc) is different so you have to have a consultation to get a quote as you may need more or less treatments for final results. I saw a noticeable difference after the 2nd or 3rd treatment and was pretty much hair free by the 8th. I get a 'top up' about once a year on fully treated areas to nab any newbie's that have snuck in. A word of advice: Don't be fooled by other places, ladies and gents- you should NOT feel any 'hot' after effects or remaining marks after a treatment. I discovered this the hard way after buying an online 'deal' for a different clinic- they burnt my legs in patches and said that it was totally normal then cancelled my appointments, never returned my calls and disappeared from their premises. I hear they have relocated but I will not name names as I am not 100% sure. Please, really look into who is doing your treatment and if in doubt, RUN. I had the thermavein treatment for facial thread veins as they seemed to be getting more pronounced and I found them unsightly. I would highly recommend this treatment as the results are instant and while it's not painless and there is some recovery time (some redness which covers easily with make-up) for me, personally ,it's a small price to pay to be gratefully thread vein free! In my estimation the treatment was very good value for the end result. I chose this clinic as I buy my skincare products here and was alerted to the treatment available when I enquired. I also reviewed the treatment online. Obviously, I was worried (and excited!) about the treatment beforehand. However, the clinic owner and my treatment specialist, Liz, put me right at ease and answered any and all questions patiently and professionally; she really knows her stuff, she gave me a call back after the treatment and, in addition, is just very pleasant! read more

Beautiful salon, great for free parking too. Beautiful decor, always clean... love this place. Have had fantastic results with their laser machine.
