I’d researched clinics for thread veins on my face. I’d always been very conscious of them and wouldn’t leave the house without concealer and makeup. Although not local to me, Facial Aesthetics had by far the best and most 5* reviews. Beautifully tranquil surroundings, very calming atmosphere. I met Hannah and Julie both totally professional but warm and welcoming. Julie explained how the treatment works on the thread veins, her knowledge is amazing, the numbing cream before and cooling gel afterwards helped, the treatment took less than 15 minutes, Julie checking all the time that I was ok. It was a virtually painless treatment. I was amazed at the immediate results!! Well worth the journey and great value for money. Highly recommend Facial Aesthetics to anyone thinking of having any Aesthetic treatment just go and talk to them, I will be returning for any ‘tweaks’ in 6 weeks. I have just had Aqualix injected into my "muffin top" by Dr. Liakas in London. The consultation with this doctor was free, and very thorough. He took his time and explained all the treatments very well. He also has a very pleasant and likeable manner. He encouraged me to ask questions and he answered them all very well and thoroughly. I never felt under any pressure to have treatment and there was certainly no "hard sell" involved. I have only just had the treatment, but I can already see a difference so I am very, very happy. I went in for treatment because of my hyperhidrosis (face) and teeth grinding at nighttime. I had heard about Dr. Somji from a few close friends and because of my prior experience with fillers I was hesitant to go in and get treated but I’m glad that I trusted Dr. Somji because he did a great job. I stopped grinding my teeth and he didn’t over inject me with fillers like my other doctors. Great treatment and great doctor!! I have recently had thread vein treatment on my face. Some areas on my face were very angry and red and I did wonder before the treatment if there would be much difference. I am now a few weeks after the treatment and I cannot believe how great my skin looks and feels. The area I was most worried about is fantastic and only one or two slight veins showing.Julie Scott is very Professional and takes her time to look at your skin, put you at ease and explain fully the treatment and what to expect in the few weeks afterwards.I am due to return to the clinic in a few weeks time so that Julie can assess my skin and to go over the odd veins still showing. This is included in the initial price which I think is very good. Julie doesn't just do a one off treatment and not follow the results up. She cares about her clients. I have now had my 2 veinwave treatments with Julie at Facial Aesthetics. It took me a very long time to pluck up the courage to have this treatment, but I am so glad I went ahead. They are on the slightly expensive side but this was to be expected by me as it was the same price that they quoted me when I initially made my booking and considering that they are indeed expert at what they do. I went in for the treatment of minor scars and in the hope's of attaining a monthly facial routine and to learn new skin techniques. The treatment was £50 for each facial with a chemical peel and it includes the works. I am really, really happy with the treatment. Despite them not being established, they are great and are experts at what they do. I was a bit skeptical at first but soon realized that their treatments REALLY DO WORK. You see and feel the difference immediately and start noticing permanent results within a few days. I mean that is an absolutely remarkable turnaround time! I initially chose the Skin Mod Aesthetic Clinic because they are close to me and because being in the beauty industry myself, I basically was not looking for a spa or beauty clinic. I was specifically looking for an aesthetic clinic and Skin Mod was the perfect combination for these basic requirements. After my first visit I walked away thinking that they are good at what they do and that they are extremely knowledgeable. They're invested in their patients interests and needs and are extremely focused. Basically they know what they are about and don't just sell you products out of sponsorship. This is a new salon and is therefore it is a little bare but is definitely bound to fill up. I would most certainly recommend the Skin Mod Aesthetic Clinic! read more
