Medical Aesthetics Specialist Consultation, VISIA® Skin Analysis

I visited Face and Body Cosmetic Clinic today for Visia Complexion Analysis. My skin analysis was with Becky who was professional and friendly. She carried out the analysis (which helps to determine areas of UV damage, redness, enlarged pores etc) and then patiently talked me through the results while answering my many questions! Becky then recommended products to help to improve my 'problem areas'. I liked the fact that Becky targeted her recommendations to a few key products and did not pressurise me to purchase them but was able to say why each was important for me. I did purchase some products and intend to return in a month to repeat the analysis to see if the skincare regime recommended has made a difference. This is the great strength of buying new products after the skin analysis as you have a detailed photographic record of the 'before' and so can properly evaluate the effects of the products. I chose to visit Face and Body Cosmetic Clinic on the recommendation of a friend. The clinic is conveniently located in Edinburgh's West End. The staff were warm and welcoming and I was offered a hot or cold drink while filling out some paperwork in their stylish reception area.

Successful in improving my appearance

Medical Aesthetics

I had ultra therapy treatment, which was mildly uncomfortable and left a little bruising for a few days but was ultimately very successful in improving my appearance. I would not hesitate to recommend it as a treatment. Victoria is very knowledgeable about her field and has excellent clinical skills. She is extremely professional at all times and offers a great range of services. The prices charged are very realistic for the treatments offered, in comparison with other practitioners I have consulted.

Laser Hair Removal

I haven't had my treatment yet- however I am booked in for my first consultation. I spoke to Karen over the phone booking the appointment and I couldn't have felt more comfortable booking the appointment. The clinic makes you feel comfortable - I highly recommend. I first emailed Face and Body asking to book myself in for Laser Hair removal. I didn't know the process of how it all worked but as soon as I emailed, I got an immediate response from Karen. She explained the exact process and prices. The email response came over as a friendly yet professional clinic, so I highly recommended Face and Body for any treatments.

Pleased with results around forehead and eyes

Treatment for Wrinkles

Recently I had treatment for wrinkles on my forehead and around the eyes at Face and Body Clinic. Practitioner Susie used a good technique to make this treatment comfortable. I'm really pleased with the results and I was told that if I want I can book a free review in two weeks time. Very warm welcome, nice and friendly stuff. Susie was great. She is very professional and experienced. I had a great experience and I highly recommend this clinic and I definitely go back for my next treatment in 3 months.

Very disappointing

CoolSculpting®

I felt very disappointed - I spent £800 for Coolsculpting™, stuck to the guidelines and there was no difference at all. I waited 12 weeks and did not gain any weight, but no difference at all. Dr was almost military in her cold manner. Very disappointing. What a silly thing for me to waste my money on.

Hello Debbie, I was unable to review your results because you cancelled your appointment with me on 22/06/12. I only have notes from your review with our nurse 1 month following treatment saying that there was already a visible reduction and you were happy with the results so far. 9 out of 10 of our CoolSculpting patients have great results that are obvious when we compare pre and post- treatment photos.
