I have a problematic right elbow like tendinitis. I browsed through the private Clinics chose Manchester arm clinic. I phoned up and an appointment was made to see a Professor Watts in 2 days. At my appointment I was eager to have a more substantial repeat Cortisone injection. Iv had 2 previous, the first had good results lasting 23 months the second which at the time I thought was an inferior injection faded after 6 months. Time for a change - at my appointment I found Professor Watts a pleasure to communicate with. I was informed of the risks of repeat Cortisone injections and offered other types of treatment. I refused Physiopherapy which Iv previously had so Professor Watts guided me towards [Name redacted] [Treatment name removed] therapy. Far less risk of developing secondary problems like ruptured tendons, ligament damage. At this pleasant appointment Professor Watts advised I have an MRI scan of the arm before proceeding further. This was arranged for the following day and by the end of the week if the finding dictate a [Name redacted] injection is appropriate, I'll of had this injection done.
